COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Get a Belgian Brewmaster and a master of Belgian brewing together and theres sure to be spontaneous imagination that leads to micro-organisms mingling in fermentation.

Allagash and New Belgium are pleased to offer you our collabeeration brewed with the slightly fruity hibiscus flower, the aromatic Brettanomyces, and the flavor-boosting Lactobacillus.

We recommend pairing it with creamy, soft cheeses and charming Vrienden- that’s ‘friends’ in Flemish.

Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar: Poured a golden honey color and was topped with a small formation of foam patches for its head. The aroma was subtle with a moderate scent of zesty Belgian yeast and a distant background of banana and hibiscus plant. As for the flavor, there was a blended spiciness that mimicked a Belgian farmhouse wild ale with a slight hint towards hibiscus and dried fruit perhaps apricot or banana. Certainly interesting how they incorporated endive into this recipe, but I’ve only had the vegetable a few times I cant really say the flavor has been embedded into my palate yet.

A - Pours a clear amber with a fizzy looking white head. S - Tart fruit - green apples, pears, grapes, hints of soft grain. T - Apple and grape skins, tart berries, pears, candy sweetness mineral like character, soft citrus, cherries, and some light funkiness behind all the fruit. Aftertaste is tart floral. M - Creamy medium body. Subdued but balanced. The sourness and funk is light but it’s still a tasty brew. Serving type: bottle 07-17-2011

thedm (4783) - Fort Wayne, USA - NOV 15, 2012
This bottled brew from a rating party poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a typically carbonated transparent orange colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was malty and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of acidic hops and malt. An OK brew just nothing special.

The beer is a nice sour assortment of malt goodness and nice fruit flavor. Not very hoppy at all. It's quite smooth it's very worthy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep golden color out of the bottle with a frothy white head. Wet blanket and Brett funk nose, with some cat urine as it warms up. Flavors of moldy hay with a thick honey sweetness against a sour Lacto funk. Okay for a sour beer.
