Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Light haze on this deep red - amber beer. Bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and crispy. Light airy malt, mild cream. A strong flavour of hard candy sweets. Whisper of violets leads to perfumey floralness. Generic fruits. Light dry finish.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear dark copper with a creamy yellow beige head. Aroma seems spicy cinnamon. Med body or better. Flavor is somewhat toasted malt, but there’s a peppery spiciness, and cinnamon is discernible. Could be a little darkish fruit. It’s pretty drinkable, but unusual.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a bit hazy deep reddish brown appearance with a brown head and decent lacing. Plum, dark grape, fig, earth, spicy pepper, tangy black cherry aroma. Quite strong and a bit boozy. Black cherry, strawberry, pepper, cinnamon, raisin, plum, caramel, toffee flavor with actually very little aftertaste. Not necessarily offensive but still kind of a stupid beer just like everything else in the Lips of Faith series. Definitely wouldn’t buy again.
