4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Draft. Pours golden yellow with thin, rapidly diminished head. Slightly medicine, lemon citrus aroma. Compared to other Berliner weisse, only softly sour. Not a bad wheat, generally refreshing with a smooth mouthfeel and slight lemony yuzu aftertaste. Would drink again.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bomber, $9 at Cash Wise. Golden pour with a large, fizzy white head. Head dissipates rather quickly, and aroma of apple, cinnamon, cloves, and musty grass develop. Tastes musty and tart, but odd. Not picking up any citrus or grapefruit, but the sour and tartness is there. So too is plenty of musty grass and wheat. More spicy than fruity. Sounded interesting, but it lacked significantly in the refreshing department.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a one inch white head that lasts. Taste is of bubblegum, fruit, citrus, wheat and some alcohol. Very clean aroma. Has a moderate body with a slight sour and bitter finish. Easy to drink, different, but ultimately underwhelming.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. OK, I had to google what a yuzu was. Pours as you’d expect, super light and golden. I love this ... exactly what one needs when they want a light, fruity, musty Berliner ... the yuzu (aka tangerine to me) is the perfect fruit choice ... sweet and lightly citric. My wife, who’s a Berliner fan, actually doesn’t like it, which surprises me. She takes the fruit as spice, but I don’t. (Beer #5300! 10/20/2013)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Proof Brewing Company - on tap. Light golden sparkling pour, light off white head. Aroma of scuppernong grapes, a hint of spearmint. Flavor has some hints of honey, a touch of passion fruit, a citrusy back end - which I assume is yuzu. Thick enough mouthfeel. NOt bad.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light greenish-gold, clear. Good tap handle. Perfumy and slightly cedery. Lightly sour and too frooty - tastes like a berry wine cooler. Lightish body, some mineral finish. Always want more out of a Berliner.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a light gold with light carbonation. Smells like it is going to be too sweet and sure enough it is. Barely tart, I would never guess this was a Berliner Weisse if I didn’t pour it myself. I have zero interest in drinking this one again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Didn’t care for this one too much. Zippy palate. Tart, fruity flavors....too much tart, in my opinion. Unique, but not enough substance.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Hazy copper with a white head. Slight tart and barnyard odor. Weird orange and really refreshing.
