COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Yuzu is a strange fruit- citrusy and bold. Those three words: strange, citrus and bold are the perfect beginnings for a great beer. So, our brewers paired yuzu with the sourness of a Berlinerweiss to create this beerlicious Yuzu Berlinerweiss. Brewed with pale malt and wheat this Berlinerwiess was acidified with Lactobacillus for a light, dry mouthfeel and tart refreshment. Hazy and straw-colored, the yuzu fruit brings a tropical charm to a traditional beer.

Bottle from Ale Jail, hazy golden pour with a thin white head. Aroma of grain and some light fruit and a light tartness. Taste is quite similar, ok fruit flavor, lacking in tartness, thin body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle
Aroma: Citrus, apple, floral hints
Appearance: Clean, bubbly straw with thin, lacing white head
Taste: Fruit sweetness, with a very slight citrus rind bitterness. Some very slight tartness.
Palate: Medium/light, lively mouthfeel with a smooth, dry and acidic finish.
Overall: Not bad, and fairly well integrated. Flavors donít jump out, and I was expecting a bit more tartness.

Split a 22oz bottle. Poured a fizzy, pale grey white with some light notes of yellow. Aroma was some light grain notes, strange fruit notes that must be this "yuzu." Flavor was very light, tartness - interesting fruit notes.

Iím generally more forgiving than some when it comes to a "Berliner Weisse" beer, giving a lot of leeway, partly because Iím certainly no expert on the style. However, why would someone want an Imperial Berliner Weisse? Okay, well I know someone will want anything and everything imperialized (can I get an "Imperial Mild" - if it doesnít already exist?). This beer has some notes of a Berliner, but the alcohol removes the light, refreshing angle and I think the beer could have been a heck of a lot better without the lingering alcohol notes - can they just release a 4% version?

Bottle thanks to my mom. Pour a clear golden yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of musty grains with sweet grains and a bit of light fruits. Flavor has a good amount of light sweet fruits and sweet grain and a hint of pine.

Hazy pale yellow pour with a small white head. Fruity citrus flavors are good, but lacking the bite and tart flavors for this style. Itís ok.

On tap at Sportyís, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of fruits, Yuze and I agree Lychee. Taste of stinging fruits and alcohol, mineral and alcohol burn. Imperial Berliner Weisse? Why? Didnít work before and doesnít work by adding an exotic fruit. Nothing about this comes close to a Berliner Weisse. Horrible.

Draft. Golden beer with a cream head. Tart, slight citrus aroma. Lime/lemon flavor with tartness and light sourness. Medium bodied. Light sourness lingers with lime/lemon.

Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours light gold/yellow with white foam. Smells sweet of lychee and mild hints of wheat. Tastes sweet with lychee, peach, tangerine and cream.

Aroma is lemons, salt/minerals and malts. The flavor is juice, assuming its the yuzu, citrus, salt, light minerals, lemons, malts and a tart/sour/almost milk-like finish.
