COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Yuzu is a strange fruit- citrusy and bold. Those three words: strange, citrus and bold are the perfect beginnings for a great beer. So, our brewers paired yuzu with the sourness of a Berlinerweiss to create this beerlicious Yuzu Berlinerweiss. Brewed with pale malt and wheat this Berlinerwiess was acidified with Lactobacillus for a light, dry mouthfeel and tart refreshment. Hazy and straw-colored, the yuzu fruit brings a tropical charm to a traditional beer.

Tap - fair size foamy head, medium clear straw color, citrusy tart aroma and flavor, light bodied, very refreshing, very good for this style ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bomber. Hazy pale gold with a decent sized white head. Aroma is of peach juice, peach skin, pineapple, light tartness, and grain. Taste is of lemons, herbs, tea, a hint of tart, and grain. I would not guess that this is a Berliner Weiss...too sweet and not very tart at all.

Bottle. The look is a whitish head, hazy, and golden in color. The smell is fruity, pears, flowers, cactus, and tart. The taste is sweet, too sweet for style, fruits, tea, Arnold Palmer, kool aid.

A high alcohol berliner with lots of citrus. Hazy yellow. Nose was very lemony, grassy, and tart. The taste was had a wheat base that is both sweet and sour.. Very juicy and soft mouthfeel. Still kind of disappointed.

Bottle. Yellow pour with white head. Sour tart fruit aromas. Lacto and Brett with some citrus flavors. High ABV Berliner?

Tasting at Bruce’ s pad. Hazy gold beer with a small white head. Palate is soft and airy and a little dry. Sweetish candy citrus with a little lemon and mandarin. Mild floralness. Light crisp finish. Not as bad as people would have you believe! A nice fruity zing, just a little too sweet for the style.

Appearance: very hazy gold, has a small white head that dissipates very fast to nothing Aroma: barnyard funk, yeast, pungent, sour, faint Taste: sour, tart, has that wild kind of barnyard taste to it, but not too much of it, lite citrus to it too Palate: average c02, leaves a wild aftertaste, dry, some froth to it Overall: this is really good I'm impressed, very light barnyard taste to it and also a light citrus to it, easily drinkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not a great beer. The Berliner Weisse designation made me hope for some sourness, but this was all juicy, citrusy sweetness.

22oz bottle, shared with friends over a game of Catan. Clear golden color. Little, bubbly off-white head. Little reaches of lace. Not as sour as expected, only light tart - much more sweet than is typical for the style. Good funky lemony and orange citrus aroma. Reminds me of a sort of soda... Mello Yello? Friends offer "Surge", that sounds closer... Bigger body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Kind of slick in the finish. Not a great berliner weisse, but a pretty refreshing and easy drinking beer for 8%. Friends say it reminds them of white wine up front, but with a "not overwhelmingly sour" finish. Good, refreshing, easy drinking stronger beer. Besides the bigger body and light to moderate sweetness, it hides the alcohol well.

Bottle care of Kenny. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The nose is herbal/spicy, lemon, meaty, smoked sausage, lemons sherbet and some garbage. The taste is lemon squash, barley water, light acidity, syrupy sweetness throughout, sherbet, obvious alcohol, sweet orange and some of that hot garbage/meatiness in the background with a dry, sweet finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Far too sweet and generally odd. Damn this is rather nasty. I really found it challenge to get through...
