3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours golden, clear, with a nice white head; not a whole lot of lacing on the glass. Aroma is kind of yeasty, some citrus fruit and grain. Taste is a bit tart, citrus fruits and some yeast with some faint malts notes. Not bad, interesting. Crisp and refreshing.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear golden pour with a nice white head. Leaves nice lacing. Really nice aroma of lemon, yogurt, some grass, and faint sweet citrus. Taste is sweet citrus, only a faint tartness, lacto doesnít really come through. Body is a bit too heavy and it lacks the zip of a berlinerweiss. As a fruit beer itís not too bad, but I wish it was more of a berlinerweiss.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Stone Tap, Hudson, WI. Somewhat bubblegummy aroma with some lemon. Hazy yellow served in a tulip glass with a thin white head. Not much lace. Not nearly as sour as other Berliners Iíve had. Where others are like pure lemon juice, this one is merely lemony. Berliners are usually quite low in alcohol, and although I felt this had to be more than that, Iím shocked that itís as high as 8%! Doesnít taste anywhere near that. Seems a little lacking in complexity, but as it warms, the fruitiness comes through and makes for a quite enjoyable brew.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear golden yellow worth lots of bubbly white dissipating head and no lace. Aroma is metallic tartness and faint lemon. Taste is what and lemon with a slight tartness. Kind of weak and disappointing, except the abv.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg @ WF Charlottesville. Gold pour with a small white head. The nose is mellow citrus, mango. Cotton candy. Light chalky tart flavor. Meaty mango. Dusty lemon. Growing heat in the finish. Light body, fine carb. Overall, pretty meh-inducing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear, pale yellow hued body with a large and lasting white head. Aromas are of floral citrus, yuzu, tamarind and potpourri. Lightly lactic, medium maltiness, Mild phenolic spice. Flavors are of grainy sweetness, lightly biscuity, mild lactic acid. Not too compelling as anything remotely called a berliner (by itself), but the yuzuís light sourness and complex citrus and floral character saves it (at least to make it interesting enough to drink). Some alcohol definitely felt on the back of the palate. Mild spice as well. Slightly thicker bodied than I would like but with good carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted on 9/15/13 from a capped 650mL bomber bottle purchased at Midtown. Pours clear straw with an average white head that recedes rather quickly to thin lace. The nose is lightly sweet tropical fruit and nicely tart with an interesting citrus aroma, and a touch of sour mash wheat malt as well. The flavor is the same, starting off with a sweet, tropical fruit note, moving to the tartness that comes from both the strange citrus fruit and the sour wheat malt. The body is almost full and somewhat sticky, with lively, stinging carbonation and a long fruity and tart finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy golden straw with a thin diminishing white head, fine clinging lacing. Aromas of citrus fruit, sour dough, and grass. Thin body, velvety smooth. Mildly sweet, medium tart, mild bitter finish. Drinkable and smooth. Higher gravity and less sour than any berliner weisses Iíve had before.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Aromas of egg white and lemon meld to create a stomach churning massacre of a beer. Putrid. Flavors of old tooth plaque and citrus. Stay away. Far away.
