Beershine (2677), Hue, Vietnam Apr 29, 2008 Bottled special. Bright coppery gold. Gorgeous sourness everywhere, not very peachy: the rind and its intensity comes through with a dry oaky finish that is long and gorgeously astringent. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Apr 25, 2008 Draft at Liar’s Club. Sour peach aromas. I had good feelings about this one. I was not disappointed. Flavor was sweet and tart peach and acidic sour. Very very tasty. badlizard (2324), Berkeley, California, USA Apr 22, 2008 ON tap at Liar’s club. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Sour apricot aroma. Good tart sour fruit taste. JohnC (2227), Mission Viejo, California, USA Apr 20, 2008 On tap at Dr. Bill’s.
The sourness and peach complement each other extremely well. This is an easy drinking beer with lots of nice flavor. padrefan98 (787), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA Apr 19, 2008 On tap at Liars Club in Alpine Ca. Awesome sourness. Perfect sour peaches. Excellent refreshing beverage. Dunk (35), SoCal, USA Apr 19, 2008 On tap at O’Brien’s Nice light "peach" color. Nose is funky, fruity, lsightly sweet. Flavor is a nice balance of light sourness and peach flavor. Peach and sourness are there neither are overpowering. Light bodied with crisp, sour, lightly acidic finish. Nice Beer! wetherel (1565), Encinitas, California, USA Apr 18, 2008 Looking forward to trying this. Tried at Churchills on tap. Yellow. Smooth silky lactic acid mouthfeel. Big white foamy head. Like compunction, but less sour. Perfect sweet sour balance. Peachy delicious. One of my favorites. doubleo (1096), San Diego, California, USA Apr 15, 2008 On-tap today at O’Brien’s. Pours a clearish light orange. Just a very few, fizzy white bubbles. Smells a bit sour and light fruity, not necessarily peach flavors, just fruity flavors. Tastes sour malty up front with lots of sour peachish flavor through the middle to the finish. Sweet yeasty flavor throughout. After awhile the fruitiness almost starts to taste like apple. Pretty good sour brew, goo dand sour but still drinkable to someone who isn’t a huge sour fan.
