Tap @ O’Brien’s on 4/14/08, I’ve been wanting to try this beer for a really long time and now I got, yippee. Served in a trappist glass. Pours gold orange with a bright white head. Nose is like fou fonne light, peachy and tart. Taste is tart and sweet and more sour than peachy. Though peach is there and it lingers nicely. Great Brew. drfabulous (1235), Columbia, Missouri, USA

It’s not with the main taps. It’s to the side. Noticing our 06 La Folie and love of sour, she asked if we wanted this too. Of course. Sour, but light. Not intense like La Folie. Very nice overall. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 5, 2008 draft @ collins pub - warned a few times by the bartender about how "sour" it would be, but really this was quite pleasant; clear copper with red hints and foamy head; aromas of fruit, peach, cherry and some sour mix in; drinks very smooth with rich texture; just slight touch of tartness; yummy brewandbbq (269), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 11, 2008 22oz bottle filled from the tap at NBB.
Pours perfectly clear pale copper, with a quick whisp of a white head. Within seconds the head was gone with no trace of lace or any remains of foam.
Aromatics are tart, sour and fruity. A great balance of acid, citrus, and brett. Peaches are there, but have faded to a more general fruitiness.
Mouthfeel is barely spritzy with a sharp edge of crispness.
The pallet has a subdued sourness for a lambic, but this lends well to the drinkability of the beer, as does the dry, fruity character.
A mere hint of hard peach candies is as much residuals as you will find, as the beer is really dry for the amount of fruit.
Bitterness is negligent as is any hopping, with the tart fruit taking center stage.
Finishes with a lingering puckering note and the pulp of the peach near the pit.

Barnyard funk with a little peach fruit in there. Very sour and well worth several revolutions to the New Belgium stand.
