The acidity balanced the sweetness which made this beer very drinkable. Nice touch of oak. Great food pairings with this beer or just quaff by the pool. kkearn (1000), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

thanks to blackforest for a growler of this. wow what happened to this beer, not nearly as tart/sour as it used to be. mild musty peach aroma. and dull, vinegar, dried peach, and vanilla. not very woody, sour, or very fresh peach. this was much better colder rather than warming up in the glass. wow from a 4 to a 3. 6/3/6/3/12=3
9/12/08, on tap at the MapRoom, wow this is a very bad sour fruit beer. pretty undrinkable, lactic and vinegar, rotten peach flavor. this isn’t La Folie people! 3.0. smcd (366), USA

You still find it around every now and then -- in which case, drink it! Yup. It’s sour. Very sour. All the better to make the peach come through with. goldtwins (4079), Nesconset, New York, USA

On tap at the 4th anual Festival of Wood and barrel Aged Beer festival at GI Wriglyville Nov 4th, 2006.
Clear Golden with a thin white head. Nose was very peach lambic almost but thin. The taste was sharp with lots of sugars with just a bit of spices like nutmeg or that kind of sugar that is put on top of fried vanilla ice cream. My wife went nuts over this one. fly (1331), austin, Tejas, USA

Lovely and soft, acidic and ... uh, it’s peachy. Not only that, but it inspired a WTF?!? from my son when I let him try it. This is the type of beer that keeps me coming back to NB. Thank you people for continuing the experiments. Nice when you hit the target and I feel this was an excellent strike.
