Tap at Draught House, Austin, TX.
Pours a deep, pinot grigio yellow. Nice, thick body with an aroma of sour, mead-like honey wine with new plastic. Tart, sour, mouth-puckering grassy herb lemon. Nice mouthfeel. Great brew, but I don’t detect any peach...

~Pours a light orange color with small creamy white head. ~Has a citrus sour wine scent. ~Sour flavor with peaches and wheat. ~Medium feel. Sour finish. ~Pretty decent sour. I think I just have high standards after having Supplication

GABF 2008. Hazy straw gold, dense merangue of a head, even in the sampler glass! Terrific sour cherry, sour peach, sour berry, musty basement aromas. Puckeringly tart acidic palate with a mild lactic yogurty quality. Peachy flavour lingers in the finish but doesn’t overwhelm. Very well done.

Draught at Falling Rock. Cloudy amber coloured with a small off white head. Light acidic aroma of wood and vanilla with fruity notes. Fruity flavour of wood and vanilla with notes of spices and fruits. Spicy finish.

On tap at PP Carlsbad. Color of toasted gold with a white head. Aroma of peach, sour and yeast. Very much like sour peach candies. Flavor was pretty tart; more than expected. Straightforward peachy flavor. Good, crisp flavor, but really does lack that extra something.

(Draft @ Opal Divines, Austin, TX): Pours an orangy cloudy body. White frothy head, lasting. Peach aroma, fizzy. Sweet maltiness. Puckering sweet taste, peach aftertaste. Some sourness. Tart, almost apply tart.

My 400th rating is on tap at Father’s Office Culver City and one I have been looking forward to for some time. A bright yellow with moderate white head (would have liked more orange). My first sip tasted like a standard ’sour’ and I was at a loss for the peach. Subsequent drinks revealed the promised fruit, and the promised obstruction: it is sour. This absolutely tastes like a peach picked too early and consumed - I can even taste the skin and practically the fuzz. As a conceit, this is a beer rivaled only by Kuhnhenn’s Framboise; as a beer, it falls short of brilliant but its refreshment cannot be denied.

32 oz Mason jar filled at Malt & Vine. LIke a light gueuze, with a bit of tart peach at the end. The fruit is more in the nose and the finish than in the mouth. Not too fizzy, little hops, not much yeast, mildly sour, but just the right amount of fresh fruit sweetness to balance. Almost like a fine cider. Delicious.
