Sep 22, 2009 Pours cloudy golden, with a medium white head, lasting lacing. Smells of spice, banana, pineapple, bubblegum, and caramel. Medium-light body, smooth. Flavors of clove, spice, biscuit, citrus, with some grassy notes. Well balanced and drinkable. Some yeast and hop notes similar to Skinny Dip.

Franka Potente is such a fuckin hotty! .. . this is a very well made beer, it, as the label says, it is a tip of the hat to orval, but it is done in such a people friendly, refined and non pretentious way, like orval but not trying to invade on it. i hope people give this a chance, its dreamy! .. people can’t fly, but why not!!!! try this brew, its one of new belgiums best!.. i don’t give a shit if you can see the seam..

Sep 20, 2009 Golden pour with white head. Nose of spicy flowers and grain malts. Crisp, clean mouthfeel with flavors of melon, flowers and malts and finishes with a nice spicy note.

Sep 16, 2009 Pour is a pale gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma is floral and very close to a herbal tea. Flavor is a little bit mango and a little bit honeydew. It is very easy to drink with not much aftertaste. This is something good but not great as it gets a bit thin toward the end.

Sep 15, 2009 Bottle: Hazy light golden with a white film of head. Nice bright aroma with soft subtle spices- cumin, coriander (almost curry like) with a soft Belgian pale malt presence and subtle dry phenols. Creamy light fluffy body. Great dry flavor- some coriander, cumin, very dry with a touch of leather in there. I can drink this all day!

Sep 12, 2009 Pours a pretty gold with a thin white head and some lacing. Has a floral aroma that includes a distinct note of jasmine, with some breadiness underneath as well as some citrus and spice. Unfortunately, the taste wasn’t quite as good as the smell, with just a soft floralness with bitter undertones.
