COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Felix is New Belgiumís blonde sour ale aged in oak foeders at the brewery. It is blended in various proportions in many of New Belgiumís sour wood-aged beers, such as Le Terroir and Tart Lychee.

How to tell youíre drinking the Felix version of Love: should be straw to orange / amber in color, not dark caramel or brown. If itís called "Love" on a pub or festival menu, itís most likely Felix and not Oscar.

Tap at Toronado-Seattle. Big snifter pour (~12oz). A glowing gold-amber color, too thick for clarity but not cloudy. A little musky acetic aroma. More berries than bad acetic. Flavor has a very doable acetic finish. I just want more malt and other characteristics to play with the sour character.

Hazy copper/orange color with a white head. Nice tart cherry lemon, vanilla wood cinnamon aromas; lots to take in here. Medium tart throughout with sour cherry and lemon, with some vanilla and wood to temper some of the tartness

Slightly hazy golden yellow pour with white head. Aroma of oranges, lemon, funk, oak and faint vinegar. Taste of lemon zest, tart peach, funk, oak and an apple cider vinegar kick that sweetens out on the finish. Light bodied, nice carbonation, interesting beer.

Woody, oaky vinous sour blonde colored beer. Great flavors, vinous prob 6 or 7 of 10. This is great. Seems like le terroir without the dry hop. Really enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

amber, thin white ring. Light acetic nose, pleasantly buttery with red fruits. Soft buttery palate, stone fruit dominates, light pepper yeast mid before the sticky pithy end, incredibly juicy finish permitted by low carbonation.

Enjoyed on tap, pours a hazy orange with a bubbly white head, holy crap the aroma jumps out of this one, tons of funk and fruit pour out of the glass, the flavor has an awesome amount of fruit and sourness on the front end with some of the vanilla from the barrel in the finish, light and refreshing mouthfeel at the same time, great stuff.
