Golden pour, did not pick up much whiskey save for a slight caramel oak flavor. It is mostly sour and lactic acidic peach flavor. It is an extremely sour ale.

On tap at Sam’s, Durham. Savagely good stuff. Cloudy orange pour with modest carbonation. Nice aroma, with ever so slightly over-ripe peach giving it a richness that blends well with the bourbon and wood. Mild tartness in there with a hint of dry skins. Mouthfeel is quite nice, and while it’s an unapologetically sour beer, it wasn’t mindlessly acetic. Taste was terrific, blending oak tannins well with the base funk and fruit, topped off by a confident but not too ostentatious bourbon note. Terrific.

(Growler) cloudy gold with good lacing and a tan head. Nose of charred wood, fresh peach, touch of whiskey, light funk, vanilla, and nutty. Taste of peach, tart tangerine, touch of whiskey, wet wood, prickly carbonation, complex and awesome.

The dregs from SourThon, served up at Sam’s. Pours foggy orange-amber, with bubbly thin beige foam. Nose of sour peaches, apricots, peach skins, funk, wood, vinegar, wild yeast, and a bit of bourbon and vanilla. Not as overpowering on that front as others have noted. Perhaps the last of the keg is funkier? Taste is fruity, funky, acetic as hell. Finishes dry as hell. Wonderful.

Growler thanks to...? Aroma of chlorine and worthers original butterscotch candies... why is that an 8? I don’t remember. Pours a muddy orange. Too much butter in flavor, plenty of pucker here though, peach gets lost though. Very sticky.

Orange pour with a heavy haze. Short lived white head and a little spotty lace. Bourbon, vanilla and a healthy dose of peach on the nose. Tharmpit onis a little too much bourbon actually takes away from a phenomenal base beer. Acidic, sour peaches, loads of oaky tannins and a big blast of bourbon on the finish.

New belgium Love peach whiskey. 64oz growler thanks to Adam for sharing... Pours a murky orangey copper pour, slightly less intense edges, and topped with a thin soapy white head, quickly receding... Somewhat muddled nose with notes of caramel, toffee, somewhat indecipherable peach tones followed up with bourbon accents... Flavors are much of the same with a sweeter profile throughout. Similar notes as indicated by the nose with whiskey, sour notes, and a deeper caramel nature. Thicker bodied with a lighter level of carbonation. Flavor pretty consistent to the nose. Didn’t bother me as much as it did the others but as a whole, not too clean and lacks some refinement. 7/3/8/4/15

Draught at Toronado. Holy shit this was good. Pure sour peach awesomeness with lots of fruit flavor and lactic acidity. Liked this a lot more than the blackberry version. Easily the best NB sour that I’ve had. Makes Erics ale look pretty weak by comparison.

Vanilla/peach nose with a little oak to it. Maybe one of the greatest fruit beers I have ever had. Wow, so smooth, yet so intense this is totally worth it. A little whiskey burn. A little tart and saliva inducing amazing. Different with every sip.
