COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
MIGHTY ARROW Pale Ale provides lots of pleasurable sniffs from Amarillo and Cascade hops with a fetching honey malt base. This is our brewed tribute to Arrow, Kimís Aussie/Border Collie mix who ran (literally) New Belgium for 12 years. When she wasnít patrolling the brewery grounds, she was famous for her office visits: She never met a tummy rub she didnít like. Atta girl Arrow.

This is a solid APA it has a nice balance across the board. Super mild honey, and little hop.

Pours hazy amber/orange into the glass with white head. Lots of citrus and floral hops on the nose. Taste has a crisp start and a crisp finish. Lots of floral and citrus hop character as well. One of the most well-balanced hoppy brews Iíve had with the hops not overpowering the malt character. This would be a great brew for someone just getting into hoppy beer.

A very good pale. Has a hint of fruitiness, but not over the top. Close to perfect hoppiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rated on 01-30-2010 (Draft) When poured, the head is small, off-white, mostly lasting, transparent body, fair amount of lacing, very little visible carbonation, and a yellow hue. The Aroma is malty, citrus, fruity hops. Ditto for the Taste with a dry finish. The Palate is tingly and this beer is medium bodied. In conclusion, this beer is quaffable and not overly hoppy tasting. It is an okay APA, but the taste did not leave me wanting to seek this beer out again as it needs more flavor.

Amber color and fairly light. Has floral smell and taste with also an earthiness. A little to bitter for my taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Originally reviewed: 4/11/10. A friend brought this to a cookout last night. Iíve wanted to try this one. Poured into a mug. Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head on top. Great retention; left lots of sticky lace. Big sharp resiny pine scent. Sinus-clearingly powerful. Great crisp mouth. Moderate body. Pretty bitter and resiny in flavor as well. A little much for the style. Some sweet candy-like finish. Malt bready balance is lacking. Reminds me of a mild IPA. Not my favorite of the style, but itís not bad.

Not a bad pale ale. The balance is pretty impressive considering the hop bite. A nice earthy, biscuit malt background.

12 oz Bottle poured into a pint glass. Appearance is clear, orange color with medium, off-white head. Aroma is full of floral and citrus hops - orange and grapefruit notes - and some bready malts. Taste is similar with a good sweet malt base, grain, and a mild citrus hop bitterness. Palate is medium-bodied, very smooth texture, good balance with only a mild dryness, smooth, semi-dry finish.

Nothing special here. Kind of an unremarkable pale ale. Nothing too bad though. Plain biscuit malt flavor and very light hop aroma. Light flavor and medium body that fade quickly.
