Gorgeous aroma - lots of cascade and some pale maltiness too. Appearance-wise it’s very attractive. Light copper with a bountiful white head. I enjoy the taste quite a bit - more spiciness than i anticipated (not a bad thing at all). Body is lighter than expected too - making for a pretty easy drinking pale. Very pleasant all around and I’m really really excited that NB is making this! (fwiw, I’ve met arrow a few years ago, such a sweet dog).

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub. Clear, dull orange appearance. Lively aroma of mandarin oranges, grapefruit, crystal malt; tropical and bready with only a soft sweetened tea character. Pale, biscuity, and fruity flavor; quiet pineapple, banana, and guava sweetness. A bit needly and herbal in a general way, cutting the bright fruitiness with the right touch of earthy bitterness. Palate crisp, medium, soft, and slightly watery; lots of doughy honey malt in a giving and pleasant finish. Not a unique offering by any means, but very drinkable and pretty spot on for this style.

2008 Bottle - I was under the impression that NB was pushing the craft brew envelope, am I wrong? This was a forgettable pale that would have gone down the drain had I not been at my folks house and needed a bit of medication...this should be classified as Pale Light...

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Bittercreek: Boise: Pours a pellucid copper color with an average white head. The nose is salty with some grassy light hops and thin pale malts. The flavor is dry and lightly bitter, not much in the body or mouthfeel department. A basic herbal dry pale ale without much going on except a hoppy nose and a decent drinkability. Nothing really wrong about then if you think of it that way.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a copper color with a thin head that did not last. Aroma of lightly floral hops, actually somewhat herbal with light honey. Flavor was much of the same, pleasant subtle herbal hops followed by light honey and a caramel malts. Finishes clean. Might have been a tad thin.

Have to say I enjoyed this one from the boys in Fort Collins. Poured a nice copper color with a buttery white head. Flowery aroma of hops and wheat malt. Good hoppy taste with a little sweetness mixed in creating a well balanced ale. Finish is refined and short, begging me to take another drink. Glad I didn’t buy just one.

Beautiful amber color with a nice white head. This pale offers light floral, fruit, and faint honey on the palate. Easy to drink. Would love to have this with some pizza, or a nice piece of Cantal.

On tap at the PDX Green Dragon. Pours deep amber with a medium white head. Hops hold an herbal persona to them, almost tea-like at times. Malts had a honey and light caramel character, but were very muted, leaving the finish a bit watery.

Great citrus and piney aroma, almost that of an IPA rather then APA. Nice clean brew. Almost an IPA light. Very decent in my opinion and slightly underrated.
