COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
MIGHTY ARROW Pale Ale provides lots of pleasurable sniffs from Amarillo and Cascade hops with a fetching honey malt base. This is our brewed tribute to Arrow, Kimís Aussie/Border Collie mix who ran (literally) New Belgium for 12 years. When she wasnít patrolling the brewery grounds, she was famous for her office visits: She never met a tummy rub she didnít like. Atta girl Arrow.

The nose is a very hoppy. A very smooth easy drinking pale ale. This has a very fine light finish that just makes you want another. I have yet to be disappointed with anything from the New Belgium brewery. Even if your not a pale ale drinker, I would highly recommend trying it.

New Belgium amazes me with how they are able to break their usual mold, yet keep their signature flavor... and still make an incredible beer! Mighty Arrow has a bold hop character, which is sort of out of the ordinary for New Belgium. The One thing that I think of with this beer is... BALANCE. When I think of New Belgium, I think of that signature malt character, you know... that nutty, Fat-Tire-esque flavor. I love that flavor, and it is paired nicely with the bold hop profile mentioned above, to create a very balanced pale ale. Definately worth buying.

Draft: Golden with a smaller white head. Aroma is lightly floral and a bit grassey. Taste is grainy with light grassey hops and a little bit of malt. Rather sour and brash. Sampled at some dive bar in Sun Valley... could have been foul tap lines? Iíll try to re-rate this one.

Pours a copper color with a nice white head. Aroma of hops, malt, and citrus. Flavor is hops, malt sweetness, a little grapegruit. Good carbonation and nice mouthfeel. I liked this more than I thought I was going to.

Bottle, Foley Pack from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a nice clear deep gold with white head....not great retention but laced the glass. Aroma of obvious grapefruit. Flavor is strong hoppy grapefruit, light sweet malt, and a nice hoppy bitter......Palate is medium-high carbonation, medium body....Good stuff!!!!! Very refreshing....

Pours copper into the glass with a small head that fades. Aroma is kind of a woody hop scent with some sweetness. Flavor is nice and crisp with plenty of hop and toasty malt flavor. A little more subdued than Sierra Nevada, but really this is one of my favorite beers Iíve had from New Belgium for just an everyday beer. I hope they start selling it in 6 pks soon!

Golden color with a small head and a citrusy-grainy aroma. Flavor has some light citrus hops with a subdued bready malt taste. Light finish. Not bad, but somewhat of a run-o-tha-mill APA.

Bottle at Belmont Station. Mad head. Crisp amber. Nice aroma. Light woody ale.

Aroma is light with simple sweet malt and low earthy hops, very little true flora. Appearance is very good, with a lightly hazy straw color and a well retained fluffy white head. Flavor is muted overall, with bready malt having low sweetness and hops again earthy and lacking the planty, c-hop character that while being typical, would really help this brew. Mouthfeel is light bodied with very low carb bite and a starchy finish. Overall, its very easy drinking, but this comes at the expense of having any real character.

im not a huge fan of just straight up pale ales, but this one is very tranquil and chill and drinkable, almost without even noticing. Very well balanced, solid session beer.
