COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
MIGHTY ARROW Pale Ale provides lots of pleasurable sniffs from Amarillo and Cascade hops with a fetching honey malt base. This is our brewed tribute to Arrow, Kimís Aussie/Border Collie mix who ran (literally) New Belgium for 12 years. When she wasnít patrolling the brewery grounds, she was famous for her office visits: She never met a tummy rub she didnít like. Atta girl Arrow.

pours a way too clear medium straw with a light top head, ok retention but the head is too bubbly and watery... the aroma is weak, sweet on the front, with distinct wet dog backbone, a light pine finish, bad... watery super light and boring taste, a hint of sweet grains on the front but thatís about it. doesnít taste bad, just boring might as well be drinking watery, unoffensive... pass, maybe Iíll substitute for a glass of water sometime

Pours a copper color typical of pale ales. Aroma is of hops and floral notes. Taste is floral and grassy with an aftertaste that is slightly bitter. This is your typical pale ale, nothing special.

Deep gold, almost orange pour from bottle with a thin white head. Aroma is hay and some sugar. Taste is malt, yeast, hops, grass and honey. Complex and interesting. Iíll drink this one again.

Bottle - Pours a clear apple juice color. Earthy aroma. Small white head. Decent lacing. Some citrus in flavor. Very crisp and clean finish. Subtle but enjoyable mouthfeel. Quality brew. Nothing specific jumps out at me, but I rate this very high on the drinkability meter. If this were available locally I could see myself drinking it often. Picked this one up as a single at a local grocery in Chicago.

Nice APA. Not too hoppy but just right and smooth. I enjoy all of New Belgiums beers because they are very flavorful and this one is subtle and understated. Nice offering.

I first had this beer many years before I joined RateBeer.com. So, now I have a bottle and I am refreshing my palate on it. Very fruity, but not too girly. Itís a good beer, with a good amount of alcohol in it, so be ready.

12oz bottle. Clear orange pour, slight white head. Aroma of sweet malt, pine hops, and oranges. Tastes slightly sweet with less of a hop bite than hinted at in the nose. New Belgiumís house yeast has a very odd after taste to me that I canít put my finger on.
