Gorgeous aroma - lots of cascade and some pale maltiness too. Appearance-wise it’s very attractive. Light copper with a bountiful white head. I enjoy the taste quite a bit - more spiciness than i anticipated (not a bad thing at all). Body is lighter than expected too - making for a pretty easy drinking pale. Very pleasant all around and I’m really really excited that NB is making this! (fwiw, I’ve met arrow a few years ago, such a sweet dog).

PIB, tap... Poured clear orange with a frothy, white head. Aroma is barely there, some herbal hop and malt notes. Flavor is earthy with leafy hops and balancing crystal malt. Pretty average of a brew. Finishes short with not much of an aftertaste.

This is an interesting take on an APA. It has a good cascade aroma nice caramel sweetness slight note of honey. A little on the soft side for a Pale Ale, nice mild bitterness and modest sweetness. I could drink this beer often and in mass quantity. My favorite from New Belgium so far.

Bottle. Clear, golden pour with a medium head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of herbal hops as well as sweet malt and caramel. Similar flavor with a nice carbonation.

Draft at Seattle International Beer Fest; Nose of very light floral hops and caramel; Clear light amber with a ring of off-white bubbles; flavor of light hop bitterness and caramel finish lightly bitter.
