legion242 (1520), Richardson, Texas, USA Apr 7, 2008 Pleasently suprised by this. A very nice, mmild and restrained Pale that was light on the hops, like I would normally like. Nice.

P - slightly bitter acrdz (4364), Boulder, Colorado, USA Sep 20, 2008 Draft at New Belgium. Clear honey amber colored body, white head dies quickly but leaves sticky cobweb lacing on the glass. Strange blandness up front, pasty across the middle, with some sharp and moderately bitter hops notices... dry, catty, tastes like fresh cut pine. Strange and sort of gross flavors... something like catty simcoe mixed with a harsh cracked grain character. Body is medium up front, falls apart in the back... a nice simcoe/catty/pine hop aroma is noticed over time, but there’s too much wrong with this beer to do any good. Simple, unimposing, but boring. anders37 (2738), Malmö, Sweden Sep 20, 2008 Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty aroma with some citrus hoppy hints. Malty hoppy flavor with some citrus hints. Has a malty finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste. kyzr (960), Belgrade, Montana, USA Sep 19, 2008 On tap at NB: Pours a clear dark gold with nice white head. Citrus hoppy nose. Flavor had a lot of hops up front, which was a suprise for NB. Medium body with a nice dry finish. soyorganic (128), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 1, 2008 Tap: copper color with a slight caramel taste and a dry finish. This is the hoppiest beer I have had from New Belgium. It is very drinkable, good APA.
