2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Crushed with Jakebra. Could smell it across the room as he poured it. Smelled like poop. Up close the hops are a little bit nicer, but not exactly good. Flavor is definitely worse. Not the worst pale ale ever, but still a bad experience.

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz in goblet. Appealing golden, diamond bright with low white head. Floral, chamomile, lemon, earth, and bile aroma. Yeah, that last one really does it in. Taste is of woody stems, chlorophyll, sweet light crystal, rose, roots, and puke. Again, that last one just ruins it. Finishes with an easy sweetness but incites very little desire to restart the experience. Iíll get Mirror Pond next time, thanks.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a short, quick diminishing white head. Golden in color. Aroma of hops and sweet malt with a touch of citrus. Flavor is herbal, astingent hops, slight honey sweetness. Medium body. Not my cup of tea but respectable.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
12 ounce bottle from a folly pack. Best by 8/22/10/. There is a lot of husky, grainy, cereal malt aromas present in the nose. Light honey sweetness, too. Just a hint of piney cascase hops detected in the aroma. Transparent dark golden body with a pretty large, frothy, cream-colored head. Leaves good lacing. Sweet, sugary, honey, cereal maltiness to start. Becomes a little grainy in the middle. Finishes with a scant amount of spicy hop flavors. Tastes like stale cardboard.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
pours a way too clear medium straw with a light top head, ok retention but the head is too bubbly and watery... the aroma is weak, sweet on the front, with distinct wet dog backbone, a light pine finish, bad... watery super light and boring taste, a hint of sweet grains on the front but thatís about it. doesnít taste bad, just boring might as well be drinking watery, unoffensive... pass, maybe Iíll substitute for a glass of water sometime

As others have mentioned, its a beautiful beer to look at but less than enjoyable to drink. If the hops were more predominant or they had upped the CO2 levels this beer would score much better with me. Not one of New Belgiums better efforts.
