Sweet, yeasty aroma. Honeydew, floral pine hops, bisquit malty. Fresh cut grass, lite spice (clove, nutmeg).
Taste is subdued grassy hops up front, nice balanced mid with citus (lime), melon and malt notes. Floral hops finish.
Palate is lightly bitter, very smooth texture.

Jul 18, 2008 PIB, tap... Poured clear orange with a frothy, white head. Aroma is barely there, some herbal hop and malt notes. Flavor is earthy with leafy hops and balancing crystal malt. Pretty average of a brew. Finishes short with not much of an aftertaste.

Jul 10, 2008 Updated: Jul 15, 2008This is an interesting take on an APA. It has a good cascade aroma nice caramel sweetness slight note of honey. A little on the soft side for a Pale Ale, nice mild bitterness and modest sweetness. I could drink this beer often and in mass quantity. My favorite from New Belgium so far.

Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Clear, golden pour with a medium head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of herbal hops as well as sweet malt and caramel. Similar flavor with a nice carbonation.
