COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first venture into organically-produced beer, Mothership Wit Organic Wheat Beer elevates the zesty Wit or White beers of Belgium. Our far-flung Beer Rangers affectionately refer to our Fort Collins brewery as the Mothership, a name that conjures images of earth shot from space and the interconnectivity of it all. Mothership Wit is brewed with wheat and barley malt, as well as coriander and orange peel spicing resulting in a balance of citrus and sour flavors held in suspension by a bright burst of carbonation.

Mild with a nice citrus zest to the aroma and taste. Thin but good. A nice wit beer, well made. Very pleased with their version.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is perfume, wheat, sweetness and spices. The flavor is sweet, wheat and perfume. The palate is sweet. Overall a good beer

No Aroma to speak of. Pours chunky and very white. Flavor is weak and of yeast and sour banana. Weak sour finish. Bland stuff. One of the worst wits I’ve had - and I like this style. Has a stylish label though.

The Mothership has to be one of the weirdest wheat beers I have ever tried. It is too cloudly from what i expect but the blend of spices makes it worth it. I wouldn’t expect less from New Belgium.

bottle. Pours a pale yellow with visible chunks of sediment suspended in it with small white head. Aroma is sweet spiced wheat, lemon, lemon peel, dough. Flavor is quite good and surprised me with its complexity, Starts out as spiced dough, then to sweetly spiced wheat, to a sour lemon, finally to a mostly dry finish. Medium bodied, drinkable. This is actually a really nice wit.

bottle pours light yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is strong lemon grass and wheat. Flavor is semi-sweet and sour wheat, grassy malts, with a hint of lemon and orange peel in the finish. Coriander lingers long in the finish.

Cloudy, light blonde pour with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus, cloves, and yeast. Flavor was lemony with a little bit of spice. Kind of watered down tasting. Lots of carbonation. Overall just okay.
