Overall, very simplistic and one note. Lots of just wheat notes. No real backbone.

I love the taste of wheat beers, so I wondered what an organic wheat beer would taste like. It pours a rather pale yellow color, with a rather heavy scent of wheat. It drinks rather smooth with a strong long lasting wheat taste. The texture is a little to simple for me, perhaps it could use a little more carbonation. Interesting but not my favorite witbier.

For those who like the Belgian Wit, there are those who like it spicy and some who don’t. This is for those who do. Not particularly subtle, but surprisingly well balanced for the amount of citrus, coriander, and other flavors assaulting your taste buds.

This is a very well done witbier. Pours a hazy amber into the glass, unfiltered as it should be. Lots of yeast and wheat on the nose. Taste follows suit with a doughy character in there as well. Hints of orange peel and coriander. Crisp finish, solid beer.

12 oz bottle. Purchased as part of a New Belgium variety pack and did not care for it. Very grassy, grainy, and citrusy to the point of being too overwhelming.

Decent nothing special. The nose is floral hops with lemon and spice notes. The beer is pale gold to straw with a small white head. The taste is coriander and lemon zest wrapped with some hops. Clean and crisp, very refreshing, but not distinguished.
