Dogbrick (2266), Columbus, Ohio, USA Apr 22, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods in Henderson, NV. This beer is a cloudy lemonade color with a medium and fizzy white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is kind of skunky with overripe fruit and spices behind it. Light-bodied with the skunky character less pronounced in the flavor but it is still there, along with some spice, fruit and wheat. The finish is fruity and short. I will have to try another bottle at some point as I am surprised to not enjoy a New Belgium beer.
kosko20 (143), Bemidji, Minnesota, USA Oct 9, 2008 Aroma is lemony, wheat and yeasty. Pour is hazy yellow with minimal head. Flavor is lemons and wheat. Palate is thin and slightly tart. Decent but just ok. gringo332 (97), Richardson, Texas, USA Oct 8, 2008 Good beer with a flavor of orange and lots of spices. Definitely drinkable, but not particularly stunning. bradlyc77 (26), Sebastopol, California, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. A pretty good Belgian Wit. Nice cloudy, golden yellow color with just the right about of sourness with hints of coriander and citrus. radagast83 (1071), Springfield, Virginia, USA Oct 2, 2008 Bottle thanks to a friend bringing them back to me from Colorado. Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma is citrus with a slight yeast and spice note to it. Not bad at all. Indulgence (123), Ajo, Arizona, USA Sep 30, 2008 An great entry into the "real" Belgian white styles with an excellent balance of flavors... aromas, flavor and finish is lighter, but despite no bottle conditioning it does a good job of creating a creamy finish, citrus, yeast esters and spices are all there and make this a very easy to drink beer.
