MoreHead (355), Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA Aug 17, 2007 Pours a hazy whitish amber with a decent frothy white head, decent lacing. aroma is spicey citrus and flavor came across as banana, yeast, some spice and herbs with a dry slightly bitter finish. light, would have perferred something with a little more body.
pj1855 (45), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Sep 3, 2008 Poors cloudy pale gold with a massive white head that mostly dimishes. Aroma of banana/bubblegum. Not much happening with the flavor of this beer. Very subtle muted flavor. Definitely drinkable but could use some more spice. As 19641948 states it needs a little oomph! k9coug (16), USA Sep 2, 2008 Looking at my glass and it has a tint of green. Don’t need green beer and hate that the word "organic" is on the label. It has the correct wit beer profile with a lasting sour aftertaste. Head dissipated much too fast but laced the glass. It seemed like a week version of the superior euro wits. swillguzzler99 (8), Glendale, Arizona, USA does not count Aug 31, 2008 Pours a translucent pale gold with white frothy head. Smells of citrus and spices. Mild taste of citrus and spice. Not as strong as a German hefe. Quick finish; leaves you wanting more. Not too bad, but a bit "thin" for my taste Jarrid (18), Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA Aug 31, 2008 This is by far my favorite New Belgium beer. I first tried it in the Folly Pack, and since it was such a hit, my liquor store started carrying the six pack. It reminds me a lot of a Blue Moon with an orange in it. Tastes great, though. Would be nice on a summer day. Pershing (78), Garland, Texas, USA Aug 26, 2008 Hazy yellow with a thin head that diminishes quickly. Citrisy taste with a weak finish. I was expecting more.
