Sour cherry and lactic aroma with some woody notes. Dry and musty. Very sour. Musty vinegar-like flavor. Very sharp cherry notes. Acidic. Lingering, dry sour flavor. smcd (363), USA Apr 2, 2006 This was a tasty brew that is sad to see is no longer. Melony aromas with bready, sourdough, yeasty qualities and some phelolics. Deep, unclear orange. No head. SOUR. MMM. Tasty. A nice New Belgium product I wish I could find again. Ungstrup (10863), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 19, 2005 [Dr. Bill’s tasting @ Falling Rock, GABF 2004] An unclear orange beer with no head. The aroma is lovely sour from wild fermentation, and the flavor is an extremely sour wild fermented one with notes of grapefruit. Lovley. arjoseph (514), Marshall, Wisconsin, USA Jan 29, 2005 GABF 2004, Dr. Bill’s tasting @ Falling Rock. Great beer. Melon citrus and yeast aroma. Dope taste (I love Flemish Sours): candied sour apples, green grapes, sour cherries. Spice in the finish like a muddafugga (the whole spice cabinet was in there), but it was one of those pleasant intensities only pulled off by the best of beers.
