Pour on tap at the Mayor of Old Town in foco, dark red pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of cherry, pie crust notes hints of caramel, toffee and biscuit, slight spice notes. Taste is a mix of cherry, biscuit, toffee, some slight spice, but its kind of a cherry pie ale that’s not executed completely well.

Tap @ Crankstein Foco. Clear, red orange appearance with a cream-tan head. Sweet, tart, pie cherry, slightly dull fruity, wheat flavor. Kind of a dull, cherry wheat flavor. I remember this tasting WAY BETTER. This tastes like a cheap knock of the Samuel Adams offering.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 NobleSquirrel (3286) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 3, 2011
Draft at New Belgium. Pours a reddish brown with minimal head. Nose is tart and soft with strong cherry notes and a pretty robust malt profile as well. Clean fermentation, not really Belgiany at all. On taste, the cherry is a bit less prominent and lends a nice nuance to this. More of the malt shines through, softly sweet and very refreshing. A nice beer, but a bit one note.

On tap at the tasting room at New Belgium, Ft. Collins, CO. Reddish-orange pour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of light tart cherry with some sweetness. The cherry is not overpowering yet it is the dominant flavor. Light and a really good palate cleanser. Good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 25, 2010
In the bottle at the 2008 Crescent Moon Summer Beer Fest. Pours amber with a medium off-white head. Has a mild cherry aroma. The flavor is medium sweet. Unfortunately there is quite a bit of a medicinal/chemical cherry taste. It finishes with a mild tartness.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Mora2000 (4040) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JAN 15, 2010
I am usually not a fan of fruit-infused beers but I loved this one. Poured a copper color and was completely clear. Had a hint of cherries in the smell and also in the taste. While I tasted some cherries, what I really thought when I tasted it was cheesecake. I have no idea why I got a cheesecake flavor, but I did. A very drinkable beer that I wish I could buy a 6 or 12 pack of, instead of only being able to get it in the Folly Pack.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 5000 (4962) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 3, 2010
Bottle:   Amber in color, pale reddish hue, fairly clear, moderate off-white foamy head, spotty lacing.   Aroma of squash and over ripened cherries.   Has a spiciness to it that reminds me of a broken down Pumpkin
beer.   Malty on the tongue, some cereal like presense.   Tiz spicy, much like a Pumpkin beer in June.   Has a very soft sour or tart tinge on the backside.   A little old and stale Cherry cough syrup like tinge.
Moderate body and mouthfeel.   On the backside its just like your average crappy fruit beer, uninteresting and quite artificial.   I had high hopes for this one, but they were dashed pretty quickly.   Thank god New Belgium
can at least do decent sour beers.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 coldmeat23 (232) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - NOV 12, 2009
Clear amber liquid with a definite red tint. Slightly pinkish head, which is small and goes away quickly. Minimal lacing.
Definite fresh cherry smell, though not overpowering. Sweet malts behind it. Uncooked bread dough.
Light sweet malt taste is out front. Nice light cherry follows. I hoped that the cherry flavor would be more pronounced. This is very mild.
Mouthfeel is good. Crisp, yet somehow a little creamy, at the same time. Interesting.
Very good and easily drinkable. I’d want more of it if the cherry flavor were more dominant
