On tap at flying saucer. Pours a clear ruby with small light pink head. Rasberry aroma and light malts. Thin mouthfeel with sour rasberry dominating the flavor and a nice tart finish. A good fruit beer from New Belgium.

Tap @ THE Steakout Saloon. Very dark maroon/brown appearance with a violet head. Dark raspberry nose that’s pretty sweet. Flavor is dominated by a quite sweet and fairly sour raspberry juicy flavor. Pretty sour finish. Raspberry flavor doesn’t taste nearly as natural in the beer as it does in Frambozen. It does deserve credit for masking the high ABV behind the sourness.

Tap @ New Belgium hub, DIA. Pours deep ebony, no real head, just a white / pink ring of foam along the glasssides. Aroma of tart and sweet raspberries, some yeast. Taste is much like aroma, more sweet than sour / tart notes, alchohol well hidden. Thin body, light mouthfeel, low carbonation. 140411
