(Draught at New Belgium) rich golden color with soapy white head and excellent lacing. Nose of coriander, grass, spicy, yeast, florals, and a bit of apple. Taste of light butter, cracker, grain, coriander and spices. Soapy/oily body, cracker finish and really a pretty good blonde Belgian ale!

Grabbed a sample of this at the brewery before heading to Odell for a much more extensive selection of brewery-only beers - I quite enjoyed this one - very dry and crisp throughout, with a crackery malt base - very mild phenols - spicy/peppery through the middle - floral notes and moderately bitter hops on the tail end - dry, crisp finish, with lingering bitterness - easy drinking and tasty.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2010 Tasted on tap at Cafe Vino in Fort Collins, Colorado. Another experimental Belgian beer by New Belgium. This one is a Belgian-style blonde but it’s nothing all that special.

Sampled on 9/14/2010 at the brewery. This Belgian Ale pours medium orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is floral hops and sweet. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of apricots. The hops are citrusy and floral. Nice carbonation. Good balance. A touch dry at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
