Strong pumpkin pie spices, some slight tartness.
Taste is slightly weak. Starts with pumpkin pie spices but quickly evaporates into a light juice. I feel like I can taste the lemongrass as well, but maybe Iím just trying too hard.

Tasty pumpkin flavor but can be a bit much after a couple. Great beer for sampling parties.

Dark orange in color with a dense, white head, this pumpkin ale smells the part: soft, fibrous, and spiced with squash sweetness. Itís pretty much the same in the mouth, with a very strong pumpkin meatiness and sweetness decorating the palate atop a somewhat light-bodied mouthfeel. I have to admit: the only pumpkin beer that I truly enjoy is one thatís based on an imperial stout or some other high-alcohol style that takes the thick, sweet edge off. Although this is mostly inoffensive, itís just not very sessionable. If you want to make the argument that this beer isnít supposed to be a session ale, then you would probably be a proponent of the idea of drinking a specimen beer for the same of enjoying a beerís uniqueness slowly, and joyfully. Unfortunately, itís just not that enjoyable.

A decent pumpkin. Pretty subtle in taste but a nice light drinkable body. Avg pour & faint aroma. Not bad - not remarkable!

12oz bottle pours with a clear gold body that has copper hues and supports an off white head. The aroma has lots of pumpkin pie spices and then an inviting degree of pumpkin, and a bit of cracker. The taste is similar with pumpkin pie spices, some fairly deep pumpkin meat like flavors mixing with a grounding malty sweetness. Beneath those notes is a bit of graham cracker pie crust goodness. Nice. This is smooth as well as fairly rich and balanced.

Great idea for beer. Copper color with big white head. Malty spicy aroma. Malty flavor then tart cranberry flavor followed by light cinnamon and nutmeg.

On tap in Bloomington, IN
This was a small sample from The Tap. Trying to decide which seasonal to order I found it passable but not remarkable. Overall it has a nice spicy texture. The problem is that it does not grab the attention the way that some others do. That said I would not mind trying it again in the future in bottled form.
Aroma / Appearance - A golden orange base looks like the interior of a candlelit pumpkin. Short legs sweep down the sides like sleet. Rye, pumpkin, and cinnamon are a mixture of spices and wheat. It tastes like earthy pumpkin pie with a head of cool whipped cream.
Flavor / Palate - Cinnamon, nutmeg, and whipped cream are spicy and provide a little tang that is not usual for the style. The finish tastes like a thick slice of pumpkin pie topped by a thin layer of melting Cool Whip. The problem is that it somehow feels all over the place. As a result this is one to skip right now in favor of other pumpkin seasonals.

I really enjoyed this one. Nova typical pumpkin beer. Some of the normal aroma plus fruit. Taste is just the slight normal pumpkin beer include the spices. But the tart cranberry in mid swallow really changes this. Would be a great summer beer also

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a hazy medium orange with minimal head. Aroma of pumpkin pie spices with a hint of cranberry. Taste is light tart. Cranberry starts then immediately into the pumpkin pie spices. Full bodied with a thicker than expected texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. I would drink this again.

On Tap at Brewforia Beer market, Meridian, ID Slightly hazy golden orange, witha lasting creamy off-white head. Soft sweet malty aroma. Light toast with carmel and brown sugar. Sweet light malt flavor, a bit of pumpkin but not overly spiced. Plenty of residual sugars. Very low IBU. Sweet and tasty
