What’s that bite of tartness doing in a pumpkin beer? Adding the unexpected kick of cranberry juice to brighten this traditionally spiced seasonal ale. PUMPKICK is brewed with plenty of pumpkin juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, but it’s the cranberries and touch of lemongrass that send your tastebuds sailing.

Nice traditional pumpkin with just a bit of cranberry, this ale only fails in that it doesn't stand much apart from. Basic pumpkin in any way that pleases me. Cranberry bitterness is ok, but doesn't balance well. Could be that I didn't have any beer glasses handy and the aromas were choked in the bottle, but there you have it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dessert in my glass! Only lightly fragrant but you can def sniff out those pumpkin pie spices!! Tastes like a well rounded and balanced blend, flavorful but also very crisp on the palate. White cranberries are the rockstars here. Very little lacing and little to no head. Bottle pour into a Duvel glass. This will be in my grocery basket a few more times before autumn is over!

Where and how: Bottle 355 ml Virginia Beach
Aroma fruity berry like wrap blended with coriander, clove and other pumpkin spices. Touch of bubble gum. Pleasant.
Top: lighter beige top.
Base: slight haze on deep copper.
Palate : some frontal astringency.
Taste: fruity feel that classes with spices around.
Other notes OK but perhaps overly complicated set up. Keep it simple.

Color is a orangish/light brown light copper. Clear, frothy at first. Aroma of mild pumpkin spice, brown sugar and citrus, slightly hoppy almost with the citrus.Mild bubblegum tones. Taste is fullish body but kinda light/sessionable,some zesty citrus finish and some tangy cranberry more noticable in the finish. Floral perfumy taste probably from the spice and fruit citrus lemongrass/cran combo. A different twist on a pumpkin, not bad but not my thing,Id rather have a good pumpkin more traditional type of beer-maltier and bigger though is my kind of pumpkin. Fairly tart finish. Good for what it is.

Pours a hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma has subtle malt and subtle cranberry and the pumpkin spices are kinda vague but noticeable. Flavor is much the same, light flavors, dry, with a pleasant hint of tart. Mouth feel is light body with high carbonation. Overall, seems more like a fall beer for summer.....not to mention it was released early August so it makes sense. I like it.

Reddish amber color. White head lasts the whole time. Aroma is mild bitter pumpkin as is flavor with a little more bitterness. Finish has a little sweetness and spice. A decent pumpkin ale but that’s it.

Pint on tap. Foggy orange-copper with a small ring of bubbles. Mild nose of earthy vegetables and toasted grain. Tastes of toasted nut, sourish caramel apple, toast and a hint of pumpkin. Near-medium body is balanced and has low-medium carbonation.

12 ounce bottle. Pours an amber with a two inch beige head that last. Taste is of allspice, nutmeg, pumpkin, spice, lemon and cranberry. Aroma is more nutmeg and allspice forward. Has a nice body with a spicier finish. Easy to drink and very enjoyable. Seasonable and rather unique. Will have again.
