3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
pours a cloudy light orange with a large foamy dirty white head, above average carbonation, and good lacing.
smell is of spice, nutmeg, some cinnamon, pumpkin, and pie dough.
taste is of light pumpkin that’s not over powering, a little cranberry, dough, and some malt. ends refreshing and the smell is more spicy than the taste.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
New Belgium seems to be showing off some experiments lately, this one was pretty good. It’s exactly how the bottle describes it. Most pumpkin ales that pop up in fall are pretty similar, with some going overboard on the nutmeg and allspice and winding up crappy, but the cranberry undertone of this one sets it apart.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
It’s alright. The pumpkin flavor is noticeable, but not strong. Kind of sharp tasting, would be better a little warmer.

2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
For a pumpkin ale the smell is very weak
Appearance is a nice dark amber
Taste starts off well with pumpkin and spice but finishes quickly weak and bland.
Overall not a bad beer but comes up very short of a good pumpkin ale.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle poured. Pretty thin and not very memorable. Pumpkin flavor wasn’t very apparent. Wife liked it.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A very mediocre beer from New Belgium which is about all you can expect these days. Slight pumpkin flavor, a touch of tartness and a boat load of boring.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Slightly hazy orange with a thin rocky head. Aroma is pumpkin-y with some nutmeg and allspice, with a small whiff of christmas-y cranberry skin. Flavor is similar; in fact, very in-line with the majority of pumpkin beers, being a little heavy on the spice flavoring and not quite enough pumpkin. But the finish features a little bit of that floral christmasy tone. Not shabby, but not memorable.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from the bottle. Color is golden with slight amber hue. Aroma is a mix of confused spices, with nothing pronounced coming through. Flavor is slightly sweet, but the pumpkin pie spices and yams are almost missing they are so mild. Its one strong point is that the mouthfeel is creamy, otherwise, there are much better offerings in this style.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. It pours a semi clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma has big notes of pumpkin squash with milder hints of ginger and cinnamon. Definitely spice forward. The flavor is dry and decently spiced. A significant amount of vegetal squash and cinnamon, ginger. Pretty light bodied and fizzy on the palate. Pretty decent, but kind of a yawner.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Draught > Flying Saucer. This is terrible. Reminds me why I distrust anything from New Belgium. Weak, thin body. A slightly pumpkin beer for the Shipyard or Bud Lite devotees.
