Whatís that bite of tartness doing in a pumpkin beer? Adding the unexpected kick of cranberry juice to brighten this traditionally spiced seasonal ale. PUMPKICK is brewed with plenty of pumpkin juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, but itís the cranberries and touch of lemongrass that send your tastebuds sailing.

Bottle. Amber beer with a dark cream head. Spice and light malt aroma. Cranberry and light tart flavor with light malt. Medium bodied. Malt and light vegetal notes linger with light cranberry and light spice.

Bottle at a function I was at last week. I donít think I would buy this myself, but I found it drinkable and pretty interesting. Sweet pumpkin spice. Slightly tart finish. Interesting.

Itís fucking August and not only is this out, but nearly sold out at my local. I hate beer. Best by 01DEC13 Amber with a solid quilt of near bone white foam. Smells of allspice, cranberry juice, some grain and plenty more cranberries, but sweet. Too bad the cranberries arenít more like Serendipity - that was a yummy beer. Flavor is malt, mild spice, raisin, sweet, muddled overall and kinda bland....even for a pumpkin beer. Medium bodied with light carb and a wet finish. This beer was subpar.

Pours a hazy medium orange. Medium to small white head, partially lasting with some lace. Aroma is fairly straightforward, mostly the pumpkin and pie spices, some accompanying cranberry juice. Light thin body. Mildly flavored. Some spices, some malt there, a little fruitiness, kinda falls flat. Easy drinking. Not special but nice for a Fall or Halloween party..

Strong pumpkin pie spices, some slight tartness. Taste is slightly weak. Starts with pumpkin pie spices but quickly evaporates into a light juice. I feel like I can taste the lemongrass as well, but maybe Iím just trying too hard.

Tasty pumpkin flavor but can be a bit much after a couple. Great beer for sampling parties. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark orange in color with a dense, white head, this pumpkin ale smells the part: soft, fibrous, and spiced with squash sweetness. Itís pretty much the same in the mouth, with a very strong pumpkin meatiness and sweetness decorating the palate atop a somewhat light-bodied mouthfeel. I have to admit: the only pumpkin beer that I truly enjoy is one thatís based on an imperial stout or some other high-alcohol style that takes the thick, sweet edge off. Although this is mostly inoffensive, itís just not very sessionable. If you want to make the argument that this beer isnít supposed to be a session ale, then you would probably be a proponent of the idea of drinking a specimen beer for the same of enjoying a beerís uniqueness slowly, and joyfully. Unfortunately, itís just not that enjoyable.

A decent pumpkin. Pretty subtle in taste but a nice light drinkable body. Avg pour & faint aroma. Not bad - not remarkable!
