3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
New Belgium seems to be showing off some experiments lately, this one was pretty good. It’s exactly how the bottle describes it. Most pumpkin ales that pop up in fall are pretty similar, with some going overboard on the nutmeg and allspice and winding up crappy, but the cranberry undertone of this one sets it apart.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Orangish straw, small sudsy white head, little lacing.   Soft cinnamon and nutmeg nose.   Otherwise, not much else.   Maybe some slight poinsettia of all things.   Soft spices up front, a little tart, perhaps that’s the cranberries.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Much about this one is very subtle.   Finishes very soft, subdued spices, a bit boring actually.   Perhaps a good introductory to the style for those not used to Pumpkin beers?

Above average pumpkin beer (draft). Do not notice cranberry at all, which is odd considering the advertisement. Overall quality addition to the genre.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours reddish brown with an off white head that falls quickly. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon. Tastes of caramel malt, pumpkin pie spice, a touch of cranberry bitter.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a hazy, dirty gold with a one finger white head that fades quickly to just some spotty fizz on the surface of the beer.
Aroma is on the weak side but consists of some yeasty cinnamon and clove with some light fruity notes thrown in.
More light spice on the taste with ginger showing up. The fruityness is still there which I feel is caused by the yeast rather than hops. It definitely has that New Belgium character to it which is not bad, but not that great either.
Overall, just a very average, run of the mill pumpkin ale. Quite sessionable but all around unremarkable.

Pours a reddish amber color. Notes of pumpkin spice, burnt bread, and citrus juice. Comes across sweet and watery.

Nice spice aroma and taste. Pretty well balanced and spice doesn't overpower and is not fake. Get slight cranberry hint which seems like a nice addition. All in all a good pumpkin beer.

Bottle. The look is clear, orange in color, and has a off white head. The smell is pumpkin, fruit, spice, different, spice, and ok. The taste is fruit, pumpkin, spice, unique but just ok.
