COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What’s that bite of tartness doing in a pumpkin beer? Adding the unexpected kick of cranberry juice to brighten this traditionally spiced seasonal ale. PUMPKICK is brewed with plenty of pumpkin juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, but it’s the cranberries and touch of lemongrass that send your tastebuds sailing.

For a pumpkin ale the smell is very weak Appearance is a nice dark amber Taste starts off well with pumpkin and spice but finishes quickly weak and bland. Overall not a bad beer but comes up very short of a good pumpkin ale.

This happens to be one of my favorite pumpkin beers. It is an filtered brew with a subtle pumpkin flavor that is not overly sweet, spicy or obscure. The beer has a great appearance with a nice lacing and head. The flavor does have a slight sour finish which is not as appealing to the palate, but other than that one issue, the beer is very tasty. I can drink several of these without a problem.

Pours a light orange brown with a thin white head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, clove. Taste follows, spices, pumpkin, and a very feint cranberry note. Not bad but very thin.

Appearance: awesome head, the head domes very nicely over the top if the glass, white colored and pretty dense, definitely a two inch head Aroma: pumpkin, cinnamon, spice Taste: pumpkin, cinnamon, spice, hint if citrus, tastes like a pumpkin pie ! Palette: light medium body, slight tannins left on the tongue Overall: this beer reminds me of thanksgiving ! Quite delicious ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: clear amber color, pours with a large beige head with nice density Aroma: spicy and sweet, cinnamon, reminds me of Christmas Taste: sweet, milk, pumpkin, maybe a hint of chocolate, some of that tartness they are talking about but it takes a very back seat Palate: very frothy, heavier mouthfeel, minimal pumpkin aftertaste Overall: very impressed with this beer, very nice subtle complexity, a great beer for when it cools down ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle, enjoy by 18 JAN 15 on label (drank on September 13th). Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy orange color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like pumpkin, clove, and cinnamon. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also the addition of some nutmeg, tart cranberry and some earthiness. The cranberry gets stronger as the beer warms. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit slick and has moderate carbonation. It’s also easy to drink. I think it’s a good pumpkin ale overall, the addition of the cranberry puts a nice spin on it. I enjoyed it! $8.99 a 6-pack.

Bottle from a trade with Erica’s boy friend Chris. Pours orange copper with a tiny beige head and a pumpkin and spice aroma. There is a tangy caramel malt flavor with a spiced finish. The pumpkin and spice flavors are very light. (I had frozen this beer by accident)

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured a bit cloudy, copper color, with a minimal white head. Aroma is malty, pumpkin pie and spices. Taste is malty too, some pumpkin and spice, if you really look you’ll find the cranberries but the real nice touch is the citrus notes from lemon grass. Not bad, very drinkable.

Aroma is delightfully subtle. Appearance average. Taste fantastic, palate is where the cranberry and lemongrass finish.
