Bomber. Brownish colored pour with a white head. Smell is hoppy, citrus, grass, pine, etc. Smells pretty good. Taste is basically a let down with it being kind of sweet and not as bitter as I hoped. Alcohol is pretty ruthless as well. Not really my kind of double IPA.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 coyforce (350) - Virginia, USA - JUN 16, 2013

bottle. Amber with small head. Pretty standard double IPA. Mild malt base with big hops. Seems more piney than citrus. Certainly not bad, but I have pretty high expectations for New Belgium.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 RedSox2004 (990) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Crystal clear copper gold with a bright white fluffy head, nice retention and lace. Big cutrus and grassy hop notes on the nose - orange peel, peach and a touch of candy sugar. Bitter hops up front, with a gentle caramel malt sweetness to keep it in check. Medium body, lively carbonation, creamy smooth on the palate, and a crisp bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Quetzolcotl (10) - - JUN 12, 2013
I had a bomber of this and am glad that I didn’t get more of it. It is good but the hops are muddled and dont go together that well. I want this to be a great beer but I won’t be buying any more.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 hapjydeuce (890) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Bottled. Hazy light gold with a fat white cap of foam that lasts. Herbal, spicy aroma with slight metallic tone. Might have to try on tap. Decent flavor for DIPA but lacking balance; lots of hop resin but too little crystal malt for my taste. Finishses dry with peachy, grapefruit character. I like Ranger way better. May have to try this on tap instead.

Pours light copper with fluffy white head. Muted aroma but it is in plastic. Decent flavor and a good holiness but no real bite. Clean finish. Not bad
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Indra (2482) - Overland Park, Kansas, USA - JUN 6, 2013
22oz. bottle. Strongly piney hop nose, some citrus, florals and herbs in the background, only a trace of malt to be found amidst the hoppy, resinous aroma. Mostly clear medium golden in color with a sticky, foamy, lasting head and copious amounts of lacing. Flavor profile is quite fruity and hoppy, some of the above-mentioned peach is there, combined with suggestions of pine, tangerine, mildly peppery spice and a very faint, honeyish malt sweetness that appears about midpoint and fades into a generous dosage of hop bitterness at the finish. Quite active with plenty of fine effervescence on the palate, lightly oily and resinous in feel with a touch of warmth and a medium-full body. Dangerously drinkable for the style, tasty overall. Good IIPA.
