COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A burly and bitter Imperial IPA, Rampant pours a pure copper and carries the sheen of a rightly hopped beer. The Mosaic and Calypso hops bring stonefruit to the front seat, and the addition of Centennials nod towards citrus for a well-rounded aroma. The taste expands these hops with heavy peach tones and a profoundly bitter bite. There is some malt sweetness to stand this beer up, and Rampant’s finish is bone-dry.

Tastes like a 2nd batch, I love hops and don’t know what i’m doing, homebrew. Great hops, and if this was an agricultural review on hops, would get a high score. As for a beer, this is really raw. N.B. can always make a decent beer so I don’t know what they were doing here. Was this a "son-in-law" at the helm brew? Very rough.

Not a big new Belgium guy, but this is a great 6 pack for the dollar ($6.49). Pretty clear, head is average and doesn't stay around. Clean and crisp easy to drink for a higher alcohol content beer. Get it. Cheers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bang for the buck, my favorite Imperial IPA. Clear amber color, great citrus/pine aroma, wonderful slightly sweet on my tongue, with a delightful, dry finish.

Pours a polished brass color with a dense frothy head and good lacing. Light in the aroma with some floral and fruit. Earthy, herbal, floral, citrus, sweet quite a bit going on with a lingering bitterness.

My introduction to imperial IPAs. Ironically enough, it's the sweetness and not the bitterness that turns me off to this particular beer. The hoppy bitterness is indeed intense, but I find the overt syrupy sweetness that I'm sure was intended to balance the bitterness out ends up making the taste worse. The burnt copper color struck me as unappealing but the head and lacing was nice. I also did appreciate the dry and relatively clean finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

12oz bottle. Pours a dark golden color with hints of copper and a one finger thick white head that leaves a trail of lace. Sweet syrup like notes coupled with bigger pine and grass aromas. Taste is very pine hoppy and grassy with a lingering sweetness. Clean creamy flavors with little alcohol presence. Medium-bodied, smooth, with lower spritzy carbonation.
