A burly and bitter Imperial IPA, Rampant pours a pure copper and carries the sheen of a rightly hopped beer. The Mosaic and Calypso hops bring stonefruit to the front seat, and the addition of Centennials nod towards citrus for a well-rounded aroma. The taste expands these hops with heavy peach tones and a profoundly bitter bite. There is some malt sweetness to stand this beer up, and Rampantís finish is bone-dry.

Light golden color with a delicious dry after taste. Nearly a perfect blend of hops and bitter happiness.

Pours absolutely clear, light golden, half finger thick creamy head. Aroma dank pine, tropical, hops, slight fruitiness, slightly bready. Taste smooth, slight bitter, pine, tropical, earthy hops, perfect malt presence to balance it out. Mouthfeel and carbonation medium, dry finish, no alcohol detected. Overall excellent beer, completely balanced in all aspects, not the best out there, but very tasty and drinkable Imperial ipa.

This stuff is OK. It kind of splits the difference between IIPA and barleywine, which is to say itís a IIPA w/o truly brilliant hop character thatís a little bit too sweet. It pours a nice, clear orange color w/ a long-lasting but thin head of medium bubbles. The nose is just generally hoppy and I am not really picking out many flavors in particular, perhaps a bit of tropical fruit and pine. Flavor is mostly dominated by an earthy hop chararcter and, as I mentioned, itís a touch on the sweet and sticky side but a nice cushion of carbonation does help to cut this somewhat. This doesnít really taste bad at all but this is getting to be a style that drives me nuts. This beer is not particular hoppier than any given IPA or APA and it doesnít have any more flavor either. Why not just brew a regular IPA w/ the same amount of aroma hops?

Quick dissipating, white frothy head atop a clear light amber body. Nose purely of pine cones, some spruce tip through the finish. Very sweet, over the top PNW hops. Nice bitterness and piney finish.

Unlike most IPAs, this beer finished with a crisp summer like finish. Also, the hop Combination was spot on yielding the perfect bitterness. I highly recommend. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From bottle. Clear yellow gold color with two finger off white head. Nose has a ton of lemon, straw, grass. Very smooth body, slighty sweet all the way through, almost no bitternes. A touch of dryness in the finish which makes it a very clean beer, crazy easy to drink. Some caramel flavors, sweet grassy notes.

Draft sample. Gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are a combination of orange, nectarine, white grapefruit, and pale malt. More citrus and stone fruit in the mouth, backed by some juniper and cedar bough notes, along with some pale malt sweetness. Moderately bitter on the finish, and medium bodied. Could have been a bit dryer, but headed in the right direction.

Golden/amber pour with a big, frothy white head. Aroma is citrusy, with some peach. Full bodied, thick with resinous hops. Pine flavor, more peach on the back end. Sticky, oily finish. Well balanced, this one is just malty enough to support the hops, no more no less. Very solid brew.

Starts with a mild hop aroma, pours a clear light amber with a white head. Nice hop presence in the taste, with just a touch of caramel. There is a long lingering bitter finish on this one, and hints of mango. Overall, a nice solid IIPA at a great price point.
