4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
One of my favorite NB brews ever. Bold and aggressive with apricot, plum, bitter pine and a hint of mushroomy funk. Round hop flavors, and a drying finish.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear amber with a lasting head. Good amount of visual carbonation. Aroma of cane sugar and a little hop. Fair amount of hop bitterness on the initial sip but it seems to fade with subsequent drinks. Sticky sweet lingering finish. I was hoping they would put a little more effort into this one.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Body is a clear reddish gold and supports a massive head at first... Well over half the glass is foam. As it dies back it leaves lots of suds stuck to the sides. Aromas are quite nice. Resin and pineapple seem to dominate with a little bit of oranges and other fruits that are in the background. Flavor is not quite as good as the nose in my opinion. The beer seems to be oddly balanced, with a big resiny punch right in the nose and then a slow fade to honey and almost pear and booze. Finish is warm and boozy and the beer just seems rough around the edges. It’s an interesting beer, but not one of my favorites in th style.

Bottle, 061113. Light amber, white head. Aroma has pine, grass, citrus and light tropical fruits. Sweet notes from roasted malt and light esters. Dry bitter taste with a malty caramel backbone. Finish is dry bitter pine hops.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap. Colour...clear amber with a very thick white head. Nose...lightly hoppy with some citrus notes. Palate...quite frothy with loads of citrusy hops and dry earth. The centennials are certainly at the forefront with the hops!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice IPA flavors and malt. This was a big beer so be careful it will hit fast. Nice malts I was impressed with the addition of Centennial hops.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A bit disappointing. Color and head were decent, but was let down with a lower than expected IBU. The peach finish was a pleasant surprise but
I wouldn’t call it an Imperial IPA.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Man, I really wanted to like this. I’m a big fan of ranger and most of the stuff that NB does, but this is just strange. Complete onion bomb. I never believed it until this beer. maybe I don’t like the mosaic.
