2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from mix pack. Pours crystal clear yellow/gold with bubbly off-white foam. Smells sappy and mildly bitter of anise. Tastes sweet and strangely bitter/herbal.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle pour of a clear light copper with a lacy white head. Aroma of big grassy piney note that mellows as it warms to let the sweeter notes come through. Taste of smooth grassy hops that leads into a malty peachy sweetness. Med body with a hoppy finish that gets stronger as it warms. Over all very enjoyable IPA that just ha a touch of sweet fruit to keep things interesting.

This was a pretty decent beer by New Belgium. Easy to drink a few and nice that it's easy to find nearby.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 fl. oz. bottle from my bro (thanks!), served cool in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear deep golden with a thin white head.
Aroma: Huge pine/resin, dank, peppery, burnt sugar is the main malt aroma, very deep rye bread crust, sweet and lightly fruity as well.
Palate: Medium+ body, slick, moderate effervescence.
Flav.: A lot maltier than the nose, lots of deep brown sugar, burnt sugar and dark rye bread crust, quite peppery, still plenty of pine/resin/dank, lightly sweet; light sweetness with good bitterness and a long, deeply malty and pine/resin finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours copper with medium off white head and thick lacing. Aroma is bright with spicy lemon zest, pine, toffee, and alcohol. Taste is malty sweet up front with a sharp biting bitterness. It has a solventy astringency thats a little hard to overlook, but still not a bad brew.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Various size bottles over the last few weeks. Poured a clear golden color with a white head. Aroma is a heavy dose of citrus, grapefruit notes, pine resin is there. Flavor is resin, plenty of "cone" notes in this. Despite the amount of hops, this is pretty well balanced, with a nice amount of hops and malt backing to keep this beer in check. Booze comes forward on the finish.

12 oz part of a sixer from Fred Meyer in N.Salem
$7.99 a six.
Clear bright orange colour in appearance, with a nice sized thick bubbly white head,
Aroma..fruity really almost like pink lady apples, floral hop, cherry, strange no malt for an imperial.
Taste is also very balanced but this time the chewy, caramel malts are visible to restrain the floral ,fruity hop.
MOuth feel is fine enough actually good for style.
An unusual beer not really an Imperial IPA though, not to say I didnít enjoy
