COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A burly and bitter Imperial IPA, Rampant pours a pure copper and carries the sheen of a rightly hopped beer. The Mosaic and Calypso hops bring stonefruit to the front seat, and the addition of Centennials nod towards citrus for a well-rounded aroma. The taste expands these hops with heavy peach tones and a profoundly bitter bite. There is some malt sweetness to stand this beer up, and Rampant’s finish is bone-dry.

Nice as all beer from this brewery is. Quite hoppy but not tiring at all. Very drinkable and good shape too.

Bottle to glass. Dark copper with white head. Aroma is resiny hops, some pine. Taste is piney, resiny, sharp, bright, Hops linger in there a bit. Nice imperial IPA.

On tap at Toronado SF. Light amber with a small head. Fresh aroma and taste of tropical fruit, grapefruit, some light malt and caramel. The finish was bitter and rather dry.

Aroma is grapefruit, sweet malts clove. Taste is hoppy up front but meelows out nicely to a sweet maltiness. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well

Resinous, piney hops over good malt in the aroma. Nice yoked bottle, good label. Clear, orange-tan brew with a fluffy white head. Twangy kumquat zest up front, great bittering, very light diacetyl. Pineapple tones. Zesty on the lips. Satisfying mouthfeel, lingering bitterness. Best of several new beers tonight. Pretty good. World Market.

This powerhouse hits first with a sweet smell. Peach is very dominant in the taste, which is then promptly obliterated by the hop bomb and bitter parade.

Very nice flowery nose, a classic ipa, very smooth and pleasant to drink. Nothing surprising but very good indeed...

Easy smooth drinking IIPA from new Belgium. Very well balanced, thin in body, smooth. Aroma muted. Typical new Belgium brew where I taste traces of fat tire in every style they put out. Can always tell its a New Belgium product. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
