355ml bottle. Pours a clear golden with an average, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Weak hoppy, grapefruit aroma with pine and grass. Sweet fruity flavour of grapefruit, peach, caramel malt, grass and pine with a dry, bitter, resiny finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Watering Hole. Clear deep orange with a medium-sized off-white head. Orange marmalade all over the nose with lots of caramel, toffee and biscuit and honey. Taste is fairly sweet and malty with some piney hops. Finish is fairly sweet with some spiky bitterness. Heavy body with a sticky mouthfeel. Not bad, but a little too sweet.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Visual: Pours clear golden orange with a decent foamy head, thin hazy-murky layer of retention, lots of active streams.
Nose: vibrant green hop cones. (lvl-4)-pungency
Attack: thick-slick, micro-fizzy, grassy subdued hop entry
Mid-palate: tangy, (MAIN) zingy herbacious hops, peach tones, toffee barley malt, -> sustained (lvl-5)-sweetness, alcohol bitterness
Finish: soft lingering-compounding bitter hops, fruity malt exhale.
Summary: ABV is rather stealth in this one, clean entry and exit for an IIPA. Very grassy-floral forward, dissipating peachy malt mids. Decent but could use more fullness/roundness, especially at the finish.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber bottle to shaker glass, pours golden copper, huge gushing rocky off white head. Nice lacing and awesome 1/4 inch retention. Aroma of citrus and herb. Taste is highly bitter with a sticky caramel sweetness. Medium-full bodied, average carbonation, sticky mouth feel. Finishes long and bitter. Tasting notes of mango, white grapes, pear, caramel, peach, resin and pine. Alcohol is noticeable. Complex and interesting. A solid DIPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Decent IIPA...a little lighter flavored than most. Aroma was catty and piney with grapefruit rind and light lemon. Pour was a medium light gold with a white film for a head. Taste was lighter than the aroma let on. Mango and tropical fruit came out first with the strongly bitter citrus taking a back seat. Finish was lightly bitter. Decent carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Where and how: bottle 355 ml
Aroma bold, citrusy hops. Intense fusion of grapes and mangos. Slight feel of alcohol at finish.
Top: medium sized, off-white.
Base: dark gold, clear
Palate : medium bodied. Plus carbonation, semi-dry.
Taste: plenty of hops, malt base felt tad muted. Good hop blend, solid but similar to many others incarnations of this style. Mild vanilla with sulphuric pungent hints on top end. Late heat.
