COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A burly and bitter Imperial IPA, Rampant pours a pure copper and carries the sheen of a rightly hopped beer. The Mosaic and Calypso hops bring stonefruit to the front seat, and the addition of Centennials nod towards citrus for a well-rounded aroma. The taste expands these hops with heavy peach tones and a profoundly bitter bite. There is some malt sweetness to stand this beer up, and Rampantís finish is bone-dry.

Bottle. Light caramel with white, sloppy head. Mostly pine and resin aromas. Spruce/pine needles upfront and then a weirdly sweet aftertaste.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Potent resinous pine, herbal aroma. Similar flavor, dominated by sharp pine resin, herbal grassiness. Itís alright, but to be honest, I just canít really get into this hop profile, at least not without some other flavors to complement it.

My new favorite New Belgium beer. Gushing hops to a fruit paradise. For $8.99, best bang and taste for your buck if you want a 6 pack from New Belgium. Serving-bottle

Pours dark golden with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops, grassy notes. Flavor is big hops. Resiny pine, grass, and fruit. Lots of bitterness, slightly boozy, with a dry finish.

Aroma: Fruity, grapefruit and pine

A nice IIPA, fruity and bitter.

Didnít really strike me as very much DIPA, but rather just a really bitter ipa. Nose is kinda nice with a very fresh and floral aroma. But the flavor is too much like licking potpourri or decorative soaps. Uber bitter bite as it finishes is over the top. Really didnít care for this too much.

Bottle. Probably the best new Belgium beer Iíve had. Smooth with plenty of punch. Solid beer

Strong aroma of hops, with a copper color. Even stronger hop flavor, very bitter and dry. Bitterness a bit too much, could use more malty sweetness to balance and still not lose its purpose,

What stands out with Rampant for me is the hop combo. Kiwi, mango, tropical fruit galore for the aroma, very pleasant, very grassy as well. Smooth and almost creamy with perfect bitterness and a slightly dry finish. Rampant is pretty damn good for $3.99 a 22oz.

Pours mostly clear with just a light haze, and thin white head. Aromatic grapefruit and pine. Flavor is bitter first and foremost, semi-sweet malt, biscuit, heavy hops and an herbal character not unlike Ranger. Lingering burn on the palate.
