3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a nice golden color with a small white head that fades fast. Aroma is full of Centennial citrus notes with a light pine later. Flavor has an early earthy presence that is quickly overtaken by grapefruit and pine notes with some mild sweetness from the malt. Body is light/modest with a nice dryness to it. Overall a pretty good good brew. The alcohol isn’t a factor and the hops stand out very nicely in the brew.

One of the lighter doubles I have ever tasted. Nice and bitter. Worth another buy. Tasted in bomber.

I solid hop flavor. Definitely a nice brew out of a brewery that I look to less often. I like a fair number of New Belgium beers and should given them credit for consistency. This beer is definitely good to add to your standard, regularly available, tasty IPAs.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours a gold with a thin white head that fades. Taste is of hops, pine, resin, grass, citrus, grapefruit and fruit. Similar aroma. Has a nice body, that is creamy and a bit dry and bitter in the finish. Easy to drink and the alcohol is hidden rather well. Good, but not that incredible.

Bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a large, frothy white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus, and grassy hops with biscuit and meal malt, peach and pear fruity esters with faint key lime and coconut notes. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, supporting dry malt, tropical fruity fermentation esters, hop balanced, and a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle into snifter, surprisingly pale in color for an IIPA, clear pale yellow...like piss. Smells great, packs a bitter punch with little to no aftertaste. Hides 8.5 ABV very well.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a light orange. Big hop aroma when I open the bottle. I like it but I would not consider it an imperial. The ABV is well hidden. Hops are nicely balanced with some dank and floral notes mixing. Bitterness isn’t super strong or lasting but it comes across well.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour is a clear orange with a large white head. Aroma is deffinatly citrus fruity hops. I have never heard of mosaic or calypso hops but they are quite fruity. Flavor is a let down. Sure there is a decent fruity hop but no where near intense as a DIPA should be. It has a dry maltyness and the finish leaves some of the hops but again nothing over the top like it should be.
