0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
12 oz bottle. Pours clear straw gold with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is a lot of plasticky onion with some dank peppery hops and a little sweet malt.
The flavor is a little sweet bready malt followed by a ton of vegetal plasticky green onion that has decent bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.
Overall, I donít care for this at all. Itís a bunch of watery onioney / garlicky hops (summit?). Like a very poor manís Gubna. From reading other reviews, I wondered if I got a bad one, since all I get is onion and no fruity piney hops. But the 6 pack tasted the same - I dumped one of them. It tasted similar on draft too, just more subdued and watery.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pour. Appearance is clear golden yellow with decent sparkle, finger-width white head with poor retention, no lacing. Aroma is floral with citrus and fruit with some background malts. Taste is as aroma. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, creamy texture, average carbonation and floral bitter finish. Overall, not a groundbreaking imperial IPA but decent.

12oz 6pack from Xroads. Poured a great looking viscous gold with a dense fluffy bright white head. Aroma is sweet orange marmalade topped toast, apricot skins, yellow grapefruit. Big full body, syrupy, soft carbonation and lingering heat.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A properly hopped and well-balanced DIPA, expected from New Belgium, worth a sixer any time, but watch that 8.5% ABV...

Bottle care of one Mr. Stephen Dorsey; enjoyed at the palace of Dorsalligan, whilst the rain settled outside on a hot Friday eve. Nose is full of spicy carbonation and sweet syrupy hop. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lots of sweet sugary hops upfront, followed by dominant malt profile, spice and resin. Soft booze character in the finish.

Very nice, balanced overall for an IPA. Hoppy, but smooth. Hints of grapefruit, grass, peach, and some bready malt.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Six pack from Manchester CT. Pours out a clear light golden amber. Thin off white head. Aroma and flavor is very herbal and earthy with some pine, tropical fruit and citrus. Some sweet boozy malts in the middle. Long bittersweet finish. A little too funky for me.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Puts golden amber from the bottle. Fine white head. Dry piney nose. Citrus fruit up front. A little honey tied to a clean hop resin through the middle balanced nicely. Finish brings a lemony booze whang.
