0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
12 oz bottle. Pours clear straw gold with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is a lot of plasticky onion with some dank peppery hops and a little sweet malt.
The flavor is a little sweet bready malt followed by a ton of vegetal plasticky green onion that has decent bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.
Overall, I donít care for this at all. Itís a bunch of watery onioney / garlicky hops (summit?). Like a very poor manís Gubna. From reading other reviews, I wondered if I got a bad one, since all I get is onion and no fruity piney hops. But the 6 pack tasted the same - I dumped one of them. It tasted similar on draft too, just more subdued and watery.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle split at Christine and Daves thanks to DLJ, 26/11/13.
Lightly hazed golden amber with a good sized off white head that retains very well till the drink was extinguished - this beer looks the absolute bollocks !
Nose is bitter orange, grapefruit, tangy tropical dipped straw, caramel malt.
Taste comprises orange pith, bitter grapefruit, touch of pine, caramel malt.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy semi aggressive hop bitterness in the finish.
Decent easy drinking DIPA, clean with well integrated alcohol, never gets sticky.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Strong resin hop aroma. Hop bitterness matches well with the name, "rampant". Strong boozy flavor is present and somewhat distracting. Slight after taste due to all of the hops. Overall A nice strong ipa.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear light amber body with medium white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some lemon peel, mango. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit/orange, some mango, light pineapple/pine. Boozy though, which for me, detracted from this rating a bit. Medium body, some resin
