Bottle: very pleasant citrus/piney aroma and taste, very well balanced beer, much better than any other New Belgium beer I’ve ever tried.

12oz bottle pours clear copper with huge off white head. Aroma pine, citrus, spice, and tropical fruits. Taste is similar to aroma with a yeasty bitter biscuit after taste. A solid IPA very enjoyable, not mind blowing but decent.

Aroma is clean hoppy, strong and alluring. Appearance a slight but clear and attractive copper. Taste is hoppy but not overbearing. Nice hoppy clean finish. Overall very drinkable IPA.

Bottle from BevMo in L.A. Poured a clear orange with thick white head. Ringed lacing. Aroma is hoppy citrus, with pine mixed in for good measure. Hop forward tangerine flavour, Well balanced, this is not over hopped. Thirst quenching with a lasting all over the tongue finish. Very decent.

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a tinge more copper than a typical ’beer.’ Bubbly with no head. Nose is of typical IPA, but a bit more mellow. Pleasantly bitter; followed by herby hops and a mild linger. Pretty tasty.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2011 Very nice pungent aroma of alpha hops (the nicest feature of this brew) in a nicely colored pale with frothy head; taste is bitter (didn’t quite get 70+) and pleasant but also rather dry with a high attenuation taste; goodnot great from NB

pale with large white head. firm bitterness before a ton of piney, herbal an citrus hop flavors with a beautifully bone dry finish with little sweetness but well balanced malts. the alcohol is present, maybe slightly overly so for a 6.5%abv, but a very good ipa
