3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Gold pour. White head. Resin, citrus and herbal hops galore. Flavor hits with a pretty good hop bite followed by a bit of malt to balance and finished with a good juicy bitterness. Not bad!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled sample via mnurda. Light copper in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of grapefruit, pine, mild caramel malt, and a bit of toasted malt. Pine is a bit more upfront in the mouth, backed up by light citrus, earth, and a bit of vegetal character. Slightly chalky dry finish. Light bodied with a firm bitterness. Not bad overall, but the vegetal element diminished my enjoyment a bit.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @ New Belgium. Golden with a white head. Mostly all hops in the aroma, citrus, pine sap and floral with hints of the pale malt base. Flavor has lots of hop bitterness throughout with some residual sweetness coming through. Medium body, average carbonation and a slightly sweet finish. Pretty solid IPA with all the typical Pac NW hop characteristics, tad bit sweet for my liking but still good.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Beer Poors pale with gold highlights and a white head that fades quickly. Aroma is weak for an IPA but has hints of pine. Taste is dominated by hops both piney and grapefruity. Malt and other aspects don’t come through. Bitterness leaves a bit of a weird aftertaste in the mouth. Overall the beer fine, but less than an average IPA for me.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Black Squirrel. Pale golden, solid white head and lacing. Aroma of white pepper, chilis. Taste is malt up front, then quick transition to big hops, and a bitter, dry finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A really good cheap IPA. One of the better New Belgium beers to boot. Stronger IPA with nice hop profile mainly of resiny/pine notes.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very crisp, abundance of hops. Clean citrus bite and easy to swallow. Best new belguim beer I’ve had

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden orange pour, large lasting poof of white foam. Sweet citrus aroma on it, mandarin orange, grapefruit, caramel. Malt body is a toasty, caramelly, but not dominantly so. Lightly sweet candied citrus flavors, resinous pine, cedar. Very solid, better than I initially expected it to be, but ultimately not terribly exciting.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. golden pour from bottle. Hops abound, with a citrus nose and bitter citrus / spice taste. Well balanced IPA. Cheers!

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Served from bottle into a Spaten mug. Poured a nice golden yellow with a one-finger white head that contained a nice rainbow effect on it, but subsided to a minimal amount very slowly. There was nice lacing apparent throughout. The aroma was comprised of only hops. The flavor was only comprised of hops with a very slight spicy note to it. It was light on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a decent IPA that was very light on the hoppy flavor. It could have been a great brew if it either had something to balance the hoppy flavor present or had more hops present. However this one is worth a shot for any hop-head out there who has not tried it.
