Had this beer on tap in Evansville, Indiana. Poured out a light orange color with an off white head, good head retention throughout the entire beer. The aroma of the beer is very nice with light pine and grapefruit notes coming through. Taste is very bitter more bitter than I expected and the hops come off very fresh and bright. This is an excellent IPA, very quality stuff.

Pours a light amber color. Nice head. I smell spicy and very bitter hops. Slightly skunky too. Very smooth maltiness that is out shinned by hop flavor. Clean finish with huge hop bitterness. Flowers with a slight pine taste are in the finish. A super tasty brew. Very thirst quenching and satisfying. I know that New Belgium mimics Belgian styles pretty good, but this more impressive a brew than the others they offer.

Bottle pours a clear golden amber with a tall offwhite head that retains well and deposits lavish patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrusy pink grapefruit with some notes of orange and pine. Creamy light medium body is aggressively carbonated. Taste is bitter but not one dimensional.. Pink grapefruit with apricot hints open, followed by an earthy and grassy bitterness. Honey drenched biscuit notes add a tasty malt balance. Very well done.

Tap at New Belgium Hub in DIA. Pours a lightly hazy orange with golden amber notes and a creamy off white head that laced. aroma of floral and citrusy hops, light caramel and toasted malt. Flavor of pine, light grapefruit, floral hop notes and lightly toasted malt.

Bottle pours orange-gold with a thin white head that leaves a slight amount of lace. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon, caramel, grass, light floral, and an extremely light vegetal note that I cannot put my finger on. Flavor shows the same with heavy citrus emphasis, except the malt seems to show more bread and cracker than caramel. There is even a slight cardboard note that made me recheck the date on the bottle. Nope, still fresh. Overall, light to moderate sweetness, with light to moderate bitterness. Fairly balanced, but nothing to write home about.

Bottle... Clear golden ale with a small, delicate, white head. The aroma is vegetal, but not bad – herbal and grassy. Is that asparagus I’m picking up? Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and zippy carbonation. Smooth, flavorful hops; not much of a bite up front. The bitterness really stands front and center in the finish – dries out a bit, but the bitterness hangs on.

On tap, pours hazy golden. Aroma of hops and caramel malt. Flavour is standard hops with a big malty backbone. Very nice IPA.

Falls short on all front. The aroma is rather weak with a strong pine nut taste that overpowers the citrus flavor of your typical IPA’s. Rather thin in body while being rather cardonated. Didn’t much care for it.

6-pack from Mr. Bill’s. Been meaning to try this one for a while, but hadn’t gotten around to it. Fairly typical northwest IPA with bold citrus and pine tree aroma. Despite all the hops, beer is surprisingly easy on the palate.
