12oz bottle. Starts with a slightly sweet grapefruit taste deep in the palate but finishes with a strong dry, hoppy bite. Nice carbonated feel. Good IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Beautiful golden color with lots of effervesence and a huge pure white head. Nose is all hops. Taste is hoppy with enought carbonation and fullness to make for a very enjoyable beer. Pairs well with corned beef on pumpernickel.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours slightly translucent amber with an abundant frothy head. Aroma hints of resin and sweet malt. Flavor has a definite sweet malt with some roasted malt and a firm undercurrent of citrusy hops. Aftertaste hints of fruit and sweet toasted malt. I’m not really an IPA fan, but this is one civilized brew that I can enjoy.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2010-07-01. Crisp golden yellow with a nice off-white head and great lace. 3+ Flavour is fairly bitter, leafy green hops, grassy notes with just a bit of astringency at times. Muted underlying malt, glimpses of grapefruit. 6+ Very grassy hop aroma. 6+ Smooth average palate. Decent but a bit one dimensional and simple. I would drink it again but not sure I would buy it again. On tap at Seattle International Beer Festival

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A decent offering, well worth the money and i’d possibly get it again. Just didn’t knock my socks off. not the most memorable IPA, but pretty damn good for it being new belgium. focus was on bitterness, but decent flavor and aroma.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
[3078-20100702] Sample. Fresh evergreen Christmas tree hops aroma. Clear, orange yellow body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head and thick lacing. More evergreen in the flavour with hints of citrus lemon. Medium body. Nice hops, great evergreen profile.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium sized white head with fair retention and lacing. Clear copper/gold in color. Mild nose of spicey hops, citrus and some crystal malts. Body is almost medium, good carbonation, lightly oily. Lightly sweet caramel malts with a nice hop backing, citrus and lighter pine notes with a bit of fruity earthyness. Fairly dry finish with a decent hop bitterness. An easy quaffer. 6er procured at a Lowes grocery store in Callabash N.C.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Central Market. Aroma is that of a typical IPA, just maybe not as fragrant as most. Smells of sweet citrus, floral with little "new carpet" undertone. Color is light yellowish-orange with a minimal white head. Starts off sweet on the palate and finishes a tad bitter, but not as bitter as a lot of other IPAs. Refreshing...a decent summer beer if you crave something that is refreshing AND has more flavor than a lager or pilsner.
