3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a standard great Colorado IPA. Just a super sessionable option for the lovers of Maharaja.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
From Point Roberts (WA) Marketplace. Poured a nice clear body of clear copper beneath a creamy whiate head. Aroma was deliciously hopped as was the taste. Damned good to drink, and it finished as expected - good!

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
While this is a better beer than I was expecting, overall it is still average. New Belgium made it hoppier than I was expecting as I had it pegged as another Alaskan IPA(barely a pale ale in my opinion). It has a pretty good nose on it but that is the only thing above-average about it. This beer will do in a pinch but there are many other standard, 6-7% / 60-70ibu beers I would rather drink

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pours golden with a small white head and decent lacing. Crisp pine aroma and subtle citrus hints. Bitter taste, obviously, hops aside, there are hints of lemon and orange peel. Medium carbonation and body, not as sticky as other ipaís. Fat Tire has been so over rated lately that I almost didnít try this.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from a variety pack. Pours to a very clear amber with a rocky cream head. Nose is piney hop resin, very pleasant. It has a very crisp bitterness and a very full, crystal malty profile. I may be tasting some fruity esters? This is a very good every-day IPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle and served in my NB worthy glass: Golden hue with a lasting small head and minimal lace. The aroma has notes of grapefruit and light dank resiny hop esters, some clove and pepper, light biscuity malt and some mineral water. The taste is acidic hop bitters with a light spicy finish with just a background of some hop, pretty much one-note and simplistic complexity. The Simcoe and Cascade hops shine but there is a minor astrengent tone that got a tad annoying. The mouth feel is lively enough and mostly refreshing. It is a solid IPA nothing more, nothing less.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2011 Nice seasonal. Taste is "sprucy"...if thatís a word. Definitely a step up from its competitors. This is a good one!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly orange golden color with a very small white head. It has a very clean and slightly citrus hop aroma. It has a wonderful hop bitterness, with a lot of grapefruit hop taste and a slight sweet orange taste to it.. It also has a pine taste and some spice flavor. I really enjoyed this beer.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle from Fred Meyer - Good hoppy aroma. A bit grassy. Light orange color. Foamy white head. A bit too grainy on the taste and slightly fizzy. Overall a decent IPA, but it seems like the hops are covering up some deficiencies.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle courtesy of Clingman71. I wasnít expecting too much, although I really enjoy New Belgium, but not all breweries can pull off an ipa. This beer is decent, but certainly nothing to get crazy about. The pour is clear, light orange with aromas of cereal grains and hops. The flavors are light malt with a tad bit of spice and delicate hops throughout. THis beer is light and fresh, but it is an average ipa.
