Tap at Jerseys pizza in Redlands. Rating# 490. Dark gold with a nice white head. Big grassy aroma, very mild otherwise. Light bitterness, more grass, but very enjoyable. (1347)

Bottle, pours golden with a fluffy head, good citrus hoppy nose, then a big big punch of resiny hops on the palate that’s still hanging around your tastebuds for ages afterwards. Nice smooth body, the hops tend to overpower the malt though.

Clear, golden color, lasting white foamy head, excellent lacing. Big citrus nose, grapefruit, a little pineapple. Light bodied, smooth, lasting finish. Dominated by a soft, but big and bitter hop presence. Balanced by a light malt sweetness and some alcohol warmth. A nice IPA. A great nose. Would like a little more body and malt to balance.

Pours amber orange with a slight haze and a big frothy head. Aroma is dominated by spicy and citrus hops. Med-full bodied, a thick yet smooth texture derived from the solid malty background. The IBUs seem to be on the conservative side even though 70 is claimed, but a decent hop flavor ensures you are drinking an IPA. Bitterness lingers in the finish a bit, with a touch of fruityness. Overall an above average IPA, but clearly nothing more.

WAY OVERRATED. This is an average IPA that is getting a ton of play because it comes from New Belgium. New Belgium makes some really great beers. This isn’t my favorite and I was looking for something hoppy like this too.

This one is as hoppy as it gets. It is very smooth, but I feel the hops just take over the other flavors that are trying to be had. I enjoyed it, but I must say I will not go out of my way to get this one

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with medium carbonation. Nice lingering off white head with good lacing. Pretty pungent hop aroma with grassy, floral, and pine notes. Medium body with plenty of bitterness to back up the aroma. An interesting combination hops makes for a good complex flavor that blends well with 6.5% abv.

Hoppy, yeasty aroma. Slightly sweet flavor. Very smooth for an IPA. Delicious!

12 oz, bb 24 Oct 10. Clear, burnt orange with a lasting foam above. Aromas of orange caramel, grapefruit, resin and light catspray. Flavor of resin, grain husks, bitter grapefruit. Finish of peppery wood. Near-medium body is smoothly carbonated, hop-tingly, and finishes well dry.
