4.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Donít judge a book by itís cover. The olive green and dookie brown lable detered me for the longest till I actually tried it and I was amazed. Itís for sure one of my top IPAís that I enjoy drinking. This is not for the weak but for those of us who enjoy quality, you wonít regret it.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a solid, easy to drink IPA. Golden pour into a New Belgium goblet, the fragrant, citrusy northwest hop aromas hit right away. A fair portion of hop bitterness without too much balance, so no real concession to the non-hopheads. Iíve seen better looking beers, and it seemed a little light on the body for my personal preferences. Regardless, at 6.5% ABV this is a quality rendition of the style at a pretty reasonable price.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear golden with a creamy off-wite head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus and grape hops. Taste is light sweet and medium to heavy bitter with a long fruity bitter finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at New Belgium Brewery. Dark gold with a medium laceful head. Very resinous aroma, pine, some grapefruit, but definitely piney. Hops are both bittering and flavorful. Pretty intense brew for 70 IBU. Very resinous and piney with some floral flavors shining through. Quite hoptastic. Just too imbalanced for me to really enjoy.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear copper color with white, soapy head and tons of lacing. Aromas of pine, grass, and citrus. Taste is light sweetness, some sourness and bitter on the back end. Medium bodied with a dry bitter finish as with most IPAís. Overall, this is a nice session beer that is true to its style. But nothing that makes it stand out and say wow.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
a blueprint of a session IPA! copper colour, huge hoppy arome with hints of oranges. Very balanced, cascade stand a bit out. This 6-pack went down fast! very nice

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This poured a copper color with a white head. Aroma is pine, perfume, citrus, and a hint of caramel. The flavor is bitter but well balanced. Oranges and grapefruit stand out. A hint of sweetness as well. Overall a well done IPA.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
For a mainstream ipa this one is very charming, excellent hop flavors up front with a light bitterness allowing the malt bill to shine. Loving it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured on draught into a shaker at Trappeze in Athens, GA. This poured pale straw-yellow and gently laced the glass. Aromas of grassy hops combine with sweet malty flavors to make this is good but not great American ipa. Tasty, and definitely something I would drink again, but not something I would seek out in preference to other interpretations of the style.
