Medium beige head. Amber body with light carbonation. Strawy mango and marzipan aroma with earthy notes. Dry-sweet mango and paper taste with resiny grape notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dry resiny grape aftertaste with earthy roasty papery notes. Nice, but a bit papery. (0.355l bottle, from some liquor store in San Francisco.)

Excellent beer all around.Easy to drink great aroma great flavor finishes perfectly hoppy like an ipa should.Ive grown to love this beer.It has not had any inconsistancies like many others for me yet.Fresh hoppy not stale or yeasty.Just a very impresive beer.Good lacing nice creamy foamy head layer that stays to the end.Citrusy sweet in smell as taste with a nice mellow lingering hoppiness to let you know what you just drank. I like the somewhat biscuity roasty toasty flavor in the middle from the grain. This beer could turn a non-ipa lover into an ipa lover, alot going on for this beer i would say its almost perfectly balanced. So far New Belgium and Avery win for my favorite Colorado beers. If your taste buds had g-spots, it would hit alot of them.Great beer-it deserves whats coming to it.

A clear, apple juice color with a thin white head and an aroma of citrus, primarily grapefruit and some peach. The flavor is a nice grapefruit taste with good hops and bitterness and just a touch of lime on the finish. All around, a very nice flavor and a very good IPA.

Bottle: The aroma is a tad light and consists of orange, grapefruit, and a hint of pineapple. It pours a transparent golden-amber with a one finger white head that leaves some nice webbing behind on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with starts with orange and light fruitiness. The finish has moderate grapefruit and a touch of pineapple. Light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

Location: 12 oz bottle at The Pantry, 6/7/11

Aroma: The nose is fairly clean and hoppy, pine, citrus, some floral notes, and grains
Appearance: The pour is golden-orange with a decent white head atop it
Flavor: The taste is fairly hoppy, some dry malt character, grains, and a mid bitter finish
Palate: The body is rather clean, light-medium, with a smoothish mouthfeel and a fairly dry finish
Overall Impression: I was fairly impressed by this one. I wasn’t particularly excited for it, but at a random restaurant in Little Rock there isn’t much of a selection, so I went for this one, and I’m glad I did. A fairly quality IPA with a good drinkability, it should be of no surprise that I ordered more than 1.

Bomber shared by Lubiere (merci!), served cold in a tulip glass. 05JN11.

App.: Hazy orange with a thin white head. Aroma: Lovely tangerine and other citrus fruits, peaches and apricots, brighter fruitiness, a little resin and pine, nice caramel/toffee to balance. Palate: Medium body, flabby effervescence. Flav.: Biscuit, floral, herbal, a little citrus, odd malt, zesty, slightly peppery, not loving it; dry with good bitterness.

The nose was vibrant, the flavour was tired.
