3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz. bottle. Pours a clear light golden yellow with a good sized fluffy white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is crisp citrus, grapefruit, some pine, and light caramel and bread. Flavor is well balanced, with more citrus, grapefruit, and caramel malts. A totally boring but sessionable IPA.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz local bottle. Pours a clear, light, golden-brown colour with a surprisingly small white head. Moderate lacing. Very piney hops in the aroma plus some pineapple and malt. Nice flavour with some stronger bitterness in the finish. Once again, more of the NW resiny hops over sweeter, fruitier notes.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2010 Very solid IPA, had on tap at New Belgium during the tour. Would like to drink again to give it a proper rating. Re-rate, July 1st 2010: Light golden pour, fairly large white head. Aroma is citrus and floral hops. A solid body, if not a little light, good carbonation, and lots of hops. As i said before, just a solid IPA all around.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden yellow color with a thin rocky head. Aroma is grapefruit, apricot and pine. Mildly bitter flavor, and an astringent mouthfeel. This is a much milder IPA than I am used to, which I think might actually be a good thing. It’s very drinkable. However, it is a bit strong for a session ale. Perhaps a late night session?

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 12oz. - Poured clear copper color with medium off white head.
Aroma - very fresh citrus and grapefruit scent!
Flavor - alot of pungent hop taste for a regular IPA. Damn this beer has great flavor, kinda reminds me of a FFF IPA!
Palate - thin/medium mouthfeel and carbonation is average. Finish has nice pungent bite with lingering hop bud aftertaste!
Overall - Wow!! I really liked this beer, easy to drink with nice pungent hop flavor for hopheads like me!!

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Huge aroma of hops - citrus and tons of floral. I mean it smells like a florist shop at first then the lemoney-grapefruity hops come through. Copper colored with a bit of off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Taste is far too fruity for me but in fairness, I did have this IPA in a night a many other hop-bomb IPAs.

On Tap at Stone Toad in Appleton, WI. Pour was medium golden with a very nice fresh citrus hop character along with light malt and grapefruit. Real nice bitterness in the flavor that balances very well with the, again, very crisp malt bill. This brew is really well balanced and has a great supply of smooth hop character to make this a great IPA.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was one of the finer regular IPA’s that i have had in a long time. The hops were very high on the scale but mixed well. The malt was a nice compliment and the finish was smooth. Excellent offering that i will drink again, gladly.
