Aroma is is mainly grapefruit and pine. Likewise the taste leans heavily toward the grapefruit end of the spectrum due to the large amount of hops used in this beer. I also taste hints of caramel and bread/toast. Hops linger on palate for quite a while after drinking one of these. Overall a pretty enjoyable beer.

Bottle. More of a breadiness with the hops bitter. I prefer an IPA that is balanced by citrus or pine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Clear gold amber with lasting white head. Some pine resiny grapefruit hop on the aroma. Quite piney flavour in the mouth. Smooth creamy palate. Quite bitter on the finish with an almost cascadey type flavour on the finish. Enormously drinkable, fresh and just mind blowingly good. Well constructed and just delicious. So fresh too. Just outrageously good. Lovely IPA. I am in love.

At just on cool and into a tulip. It looks damn good; a sunny, radiant orange with fine conditioning and a lofty white as white crown. Head holds proudly high and leaves a thick, daubing weave of lace. Wow, just wow. This yields such a vibrant, clean, fragrant and fresh hop nose; so ridiculously well absorbed, it could be near perfection as far as high IBU ales go. Eucalypt, pine needles, nettles, lemon rind, grapefruit, peach and cantaloupe mince amongst some earthy and floral bouquets. Soft, mineral-like, creamy mouthfeel. The body medium-light, the finish long, squeaky clean and each mouthful exciting. This has so much fruit, plump, juicy, ripe for the picking and plentiful for the palate. Wickedly balanced; sweetness fades rapidly to drowning citrus and pale stonefruit before a floral, pinefrorest of hops peaks and slowly fades away. Rose musk and orange blossom prickles and dwells. Camphorous, piney and teeming with nettles in the aftertaste just completes it. An excitingly bright and fresh IPA. Beautifully crafted. Love it!!! (65cL, BB 14/09/14, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)
