Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The olive green and dookie brown lable detered me for the longest till I actually tried it and I was amazed. It’s for sure one of my top IPA’s that I enjoy drinking. This is not for the weak but for those of us who enjoy quality, you won’t regret it.

Very tasty IPA, hops hit you right away. Pine, resin, bitter, dry. Goes down easy.

Tortman18 (81) - Batavia, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Pours a hazy golden with decent carbonation and a finger and a half of a frothy white head that lingers around and leaves a ton of lacing that sticks to the sides of the glass. Aroma is all floral hops and resin. Very piney. A nice sweet note follows, mainly pear. Very good. Mouth is VERY hoppy and bitter. Intensely resinous and slightly citrus. A very dry finish that fades quickly.

Aroma of pine and resin. Pours a clear amber with a small tan head and fine lacing. The taste is bitter. Pine and resin with a bit of grapefruit in the finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, a nice refreshing, crisp IPA. Very drinkable.

A good beer and I think if you like beers like Summit Saga this one might be along the same line in taste. Nice hop presense with a bitter and dry finish. Citrus on the nose.

From bottle. Pours a dark gold/light copper with about a finger of white head. Good retention and significant lacing. Nose is light floral hops. Slightly grassy taste with a nice bitter kick toward the finish. Medium body with exceptional balance. Very nice.

This is an excellent OTC beer. Thought it might resemble their flagship brews at first but I was shocked! This beer is very bitter for an OTC but still remains tastefully complex. I will buy this beer again!

Poured from a can. Nice foamy head with plenty of lacing. Hoppy aroma. Slightly bitter taste with a little bit of an unpleasant aftertaste. Overall - OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had it out of a bottle, poured a nice head with even lacing. Slight hop aroma, the taste had a mild bitter hop taste.

Pours very clear light orange with a great foam head. Smells and tastes of wonderful earthy dank hops, but is nicely balanced in my opinion.

Tasted from a 12oz. bottle. It poured a clear light orange with a full, frothy white head with even lacing. Nice hop tast with a bitter finish.
