Pours a hazy golden with decent carbonation and a finger and a half of a frothy white head that lingers around and leaves a ton of lacing that sticks to the sides of the glass. Aroma is all floral hops and resin. Very piney. A nice sweet note follows, mainly pear. Very good. Mouth is VERY hoppy and bitter. Intensely resinous and slightly citrus. A very dry finish that fades quickly.

A mildly hopped and well balanced IPA. No attempt to overwhelm with hops. Smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smooth, earthy, and piney. Resin and grapefruit, a hint of floralness in the hops. Very easily drinkable.

I found the Ranger to be well-balanced. Crisp & refreshing. Just the right amount of bitter grapefruit for my taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Moriartys. Poured a clear copperish gold with a soapy beige head. Large splashes of lace. Lager-like IPA. Nice balanced earthy citrus hops (Simcoe and Cascade especially). Orange pith and zest. Autumn leaves. Wild parsley. Gently sweet blood honey pinecones. Celery hearts. Wet downed oak branches. Pink sugar cane. Mango sap. Not much aroma but a nice wide sea of flavors.

En bouteille. Couleur blonde, fine mousse blanche.

Fat @ Beer Sellar, Nashville.

Bottle given by USAF buddy. Pours pure, clean golden with small head. Very light fizz with tiny bubbles. Lovely aroma but not as pungent as expected. Initial sweet malty flavour is taken over by peachy, orangy flavours moving rapidly to gooseberries and bitter finish. Great IPA which is not as ’in your face’ as some westcoast examples. Lasting bitterness and aftertaste. Good.
