UPDATED: AUG 4, 2013 12 oz bottle. Pours clear, bright and amber with a big, rocky white head. Nice retention and tons of lacing, looks great. Big hop aroma, floral and citrus fruitiness. Medium body with a dry, crisp feel and nice carbonation. The flavor is hopped up and bitter, with a slight biscuit/bread taste from the pale and caramel malts. Finishes dry and bitter. Solid IPA.

Bottle; Pour is clear golden, with a fine bubbled white head into this glass. It retains fairly well, with sticky lacing presence here. The nose is earthy, grassy hops, with caramel presence and minerals here. The flavor profile is bittering , earthy, moving to the grass, light citrus, caramel notes near the finish - itís a touch dry at the finish line I suppose. For what itís worth, itís one of those IPAís that does the job but doesnít impress in any way. It works though.

12oz can at Saana Animal Kingdom. Poured a clear medium density golden body under an average sized bright white frothy head. Aroma of rotting oranges, wet bread, floral hops, honey topped bread crusts. Fuller bodied with slightly strong carbonation and a creamy finish. Flavor of citrus rind, hop cones, dough, grass, dry orange peel. Pretty good.

12 ounce bottle into signature tulip glass, best before 11/16/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear deep golden color with a 2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Beautiful color and has a nice fresh flavor but a little too bitter for my taste. Nothing special; an average IPA.

Extra beer from an event last week - free beer is free! For an everyday, average IPA, this one is pretty nice. Big hoppy nose and taste (spicy and floral hops). Solid.

Poured from a can into a pint glass purchased in Denver, CO. Honestly I probably shouldn't be grading this as I generally have a dystaste for IPA's, but this one is tolerable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours Golden Orange. Smell is very nice citrus aroma. Has a very nice citrus bite expected from an IPA but finishes with a slight orange after taste. Medium body closer to light than heavy. Light creamy after taste. Overall a Top Shelf IPA! Especially for one that can be found in Walmart!
