2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bomber. Clear amber gold with a tall rocky head. Upfront attractive hop scents of citrus, spice and pine… against a backdrop of dry dog food, marigold, tea, oily burlap and roasted corn. Clean, sharp citric hop flavor followed by toasty malt, then a damning combination of biscuit and honey malts (which taste nothing at all like biscuits or honey) and burnt circuit boards. Estery with "sweet" alcohol, diesel and "train track" taste. Faint aura of crusty sunbleached dogshit. Fullish creamy body, more oily than syrupy. Tarry and vegetal finish with lingering rough Chinook bitterness, and house fire and eucalyptus aftertaste. I love IPAs but holy fuck, this is messed up.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear, golden amber pour with a small white head. Aroma is melon, pineapple, very juicy with hints of citrus and tropical fruit. Flavour is pretty light, more melon and slight citrus, nicely balanced but pretty mild. Nice overall.

New Belgium is looking like a pretty good bet at this point. Very hoppy first bite that opens on the palate, then calmly fades. I really like this....doesn't seem like a filling IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy orange color, very pale (I can see my hand behind the glass), nice sticky head with lacing that clings to the glass. Aroma is big tropical grapefruit, earthy pine, pleasant spicy herbal notes. Taste is a burst of citrus, with a solid malt backbone, clean finish. Above average.

Nice solid IPA. Bit more mild hoppy than I prefer, but a smooth taste, pretty good brew

Damn this would have been good when it was fresh. Shame the store I bought it from is selling out of date stock.
