3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a mostly-transparent yellow-orange color, with a thick, fluffy head. The aroma features a fragrant combination of pine and some light citrus, which is balanced by a reasonably substantial malty sweetness. The flavor is similarly a juicy combination of grapefruit and pine, with only enough underlying sweetness to keep the assertively bitter hop flavors from overwhelming. The texture is pleasantly light yet resinous, which helps this beer go down relatively smoothly, but it is really the bold, varied hop character that makes this beer what it is.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Rating #1008 - February 26, 2014 - $13.99 CAD for 6 341mL bottles at Coop. Pours a rich golden, small white head, minimal lacing. Aroma is grapefruity, pine, pastry dough. On the palate, similar citrus and pine zest, mild resin, mild pastry dough malt. Medium bodied and extraordinarily balanced. My favourite american IPA so far, lots of malt complexity and a great balance of grapefruity, pine hop notes. Superb.

On tap from Southern Growlers. Nicely hopped and a great everyday IPA. Definitely worth a try.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Golden State Warrior game. Plenty of bitter hop for this one. Pretty solid IPA, but nothing makes is stand out. Palate was a little messy for my taste. Paid way too much for it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden pear body complete with a one inch tall cap. The roapy lacing is rediculus. Aroma is light and clean. Hops, pink grapefruit ands thats about all that i can find in the nose. Nice soft mouth feel, easy drinking. Taste is the same as the aroma, light, crisp, hopy, mild soap, more stuff, ends with leather. Good easy drinking beer.

A nice IPA. On sale for intro into Alberta but may be in tough at full price with other options available here. Amber. Nice froth. Citrus aroma and soft body with nice approachable drinkable IPA. Nice gentle malt base and very balanced hops.

Pretty good IPA. I give it extra points because it comes in a can. I hope New Belgium starts putting more of their beers in cans!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Good-looking golden orange body. Crystal clear with a soapy head, leaving lasting lacing. Nose is classic west coast IPA, albeit in a subdued form - citrus and pine in equal measures. Taste matches the nose, with a crisp mouthfeel. A very nice, if unspectacular, beer for the money...

650ml bottle, 6.5% a.v From a road trip to Toledo on 2.27.2014
Pours a rich deep gold with a thin tan head, aroma is very hoppy with many citrus and slight pine notes. Taste is also rather hoppy but clean and crisp on the palate without too much lingering bitterness. A damn fine beer, DAMN fine!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at underground... Pours a clear golden orange with a frothy and lacey white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, resin, pine and some sweet pale malts in the background. Taste is resin, grapefruit, pine and some light sweet caramel tasting malts on the finish but finishes rather dry. Nice well blended ipa but the bitterness is a bit astringent but otherwise it’s nicely balanced.
