The smell is a bit strong for an IPA, it taste good for it’s type, but has a bitter lingering effect that is a turn off.

Bottles. This is just a really nice IPA. Great look. Good malt backbone. The hops are the star here. It’s not really bitter, although those who dislike IPAs may disagree. Good blend of pine and citrus. Doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but does what it should.

Bottle at home. Big frothy head. Citrus zest and pine needles on the nose. Piney, woody dusty hop profile. Bitter finish with old citrus. Nicely balanced.

Bottle to a plastic cap at Bourbon ’n’ Toulouse, Lexington, KY, 8.5.16. Clear-to-hazy amber with a white head. A little bit of papaya and the green leaves in the nose, bitter, dry, a little bit of onion in the mouth. Very carbonated, light body, light bitter finish.

355 ml bottle. Clear honey-amber pour capped with a fluffy white head that laces all the way to the bottom. Aromas of pine needles, lemon and honey. Soft fruit at first in the mouth before a firm pepper and grapefruit bitterness washes in. Lingering bitter finish with a citrus aftertaste. Enjoyed the hell out of this.

Nice, slightly hazy but still golden-amber pour. Aroma is fresh, displaying all of these nice American hops, almost like a hop.cheesecake. Drinks very easy, not overly frith but yeast is playing nicely, together with strong hop character that beer has. Nice and drinkable IPA; ho injection that satisfies you for some time.

Bottle - pours orange with a big lacy head. Aroma is citrus, piney, bready and a bit of funk. Taste is dry up front with a bit of sweetness, finish is dry and lingering. Creamy palate.

Pours a medium amber yellow with a thin white foamy head. Light citrus and pine aroma. Very smooth but not much flavor. Pretty ordinary and simple. Not that great.

Bottle, bb 7/17. Clear golden amber with an inch of white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine needles, some tropical notes, hints of onion. Very sweet with little discernible malt character (some biscuit I guess) but lots of fruit and pine. The earthy and tropical elements I’m not so keen on, but the bitter and piney finish pulls it back together. Fairly feisty hops but the blend didn’t do that much for me and there’s nothing much else to the beer.
